I sincerely hope that the producers, writers etc read these posts. I am a LONG time fan of Y & R and tape it when I have to. I hate the story line with Nick and Sharon. Let them get back together and Nick needs to know its his baby. I'm to the point that I'm not going to watch any longer. The story lines are just too twisted for me to consider them interesting any longer. GET NEW WRITERS! |

You're both feeling what the rest of we Shick fans are feeling. I hate what they've done to our couple. Lots of posters have written to cbs, y&r, etc. If enough viewers do the same, maybe it'll do some good. |

I think that Sharon and Nick doesn't know what marriage is. I mean when the going get tough and that is why they got a divorce in the first place. For Nick was completely shutting down and not being there for his wife. Big mistake! |

Oh but wait! Tomorrow is another day! as Scarlett saud, The writers are just as fickle as Sharon and Nick so things could change on a dime. When I saw Nick and Sharon all cozied up together, it just didn't ring true. Too much water under the bridge, they can't go back to yesteryear when they were high school sweetheartts. I thought about theose punch out figures where you take one person and put them with another, then you take one of those people and put them with another person and call it love. Nick and Phylis have a little girl, Nick and Sharon have a teenager whom they haven't been paying attention to. How are they going to take a teenager who's not a little boy any more and place him in a house with a white picket fence and, Voila! They live happily ever after. That ship has sailed. Nick and Sharon will not be together forever and ever, there's Phylis and Jack to contend with. |

I LOVED Nick and Sharon back in the Day....my goodness...Sharon has been with Victor and every other guy on that show...and now she is back with Nick? WOO HOO!! |

I just LOVE it when I read a statement like this because if Sharon has been with EVERY guy in town SO has Phyllis. TPTB have tried very hard to pretty much equalize the sexcapades of BOTH women.Yes, Sharon was wrong she did kiss TGVN BUT he quickly stopped it and nothing else ever happened. Phyllis also tried to start something up with TGVN she wanted to have a "tryst" with him, but AGAIN he quickly stopped it. Sharon's was worse because he was her father-in-law at the time. Sharon has been with 7 men(cast list has 6 but doesn't list Billy Abbott,also Frank Barritt(Cassie's daddy), Matt Clark(rape),Diego Guiterrez(ONS),Cameron Kirsten(ONS & he attempted rape she clocked him w/champagne bottle),Brad Carlton(ONS), ole smilin Jack,and Nick Newman. Phyllis has been with 9 men including Brian Hamilton(Daniel's dad), Danny Romalotti, Peter Garrett, Dr. Tim Reid, Michael Baldwin, Malcolm Winters, Damon Porter, Jack Abbott, and Nick Newman. Now if you take out all the men who are either dead(Brad, Matt, Frank) or no longer in town(Diego,Cameron,Brian, Danny,Peter, Dr. Tim,Malcolm,and Damon) you now have EXACTLY THREE men for EACH WOMAN. Ther's more than three men in town, right? |

Today was the last episode I will watch. I cannot believe the writers making such a stupid story line. Sharon will do anything to not see Nick hurt , but she will lie to him about the paternity results and she will lie to Jack too???????? I don't get any of it. Finnally thought that Sharon and Nick would be together again but now this. I am done with this show. |

And yet Sharon is thinking that Nick has to chose which family if she tells him about the baby. Hello is not going to see Noah or be a father to him while Summer in a coma. He can't be there for Summer and Sharon baby even though Sharon hasn't even got big. When he was there when Sharon called about Noah and living with Phyllis. And I thought that Phyllis only cared about one thing is not Noah it is Noah mother. I have to disagree with that statement for this reason: Phyllis and Nick had NO history together prior to Cassie's death - Nick, in fact, hated Phyllis, as most of GC did. So the coming together of Phick as a believable "romantic" couple was so out in left field, especially to long-time fans who know these characters from day 1 (the obvious age difference of the characters aside for a sec), LML had to do something to make them stick; enter Phyllis's WTD s/l and Summer magically being Nick's. Presto! See, I believe this sick fact is why to this day so many fans hate this pairing: both of them got rewarded for their lies, Nick's betrayal, and dirty affair. Nick got another daughter - presto! Phyllis helped devastate Sharon's family even further after the enormous tragedy she had just endured and still gets the man and has his "miracle" season. Presto, instant happy ending for Phick! Even MS said in an interview at the outset of this that as a viewer she would totally be on Sharon's side, for the very reasons I just pointed out. Most people did in fact see it that way - as any woman would, IMO, in a similar real life scenario. Sharon and Nick's love story got interrupted by Cassie's death, it never ended, so Nick and Sharon reuniting is much more than them getting back together over an affair. There is way too much character history, and show history regarding this couple, particularly Cassie's death, that, IMO, made this couple destined to be together again. Some couples on a soap, rare as it is, are just the only real "fit". That couple for Y&R is Nikki and Victor and Sharon and Nick - despite all the bad things that have happened while apart, a huge number of fans still root for them because they have that rare "super couple" quality that most other couples just can't live up to. Sharon and Nick are like the Beau and Hope of Y&R (based on age, length of romance, family, etc.). Take a look around at all the posts on this board and every board out there expressing similar sentiments of frustration and anger based on today's show. The writers have frayed the nerves of a lot of their viewers and it may come back to haunt them. At the end of this messy road, I know that Sharon and Nick will be together, without a doubt. Like others though, I'll just tune out from watching until then. |

But then why did she go through all this trouble in getting Summer sick in order to keep Nick and Phyllis together, if making Nick the baby daddy falsely would just solidify Nick and Sharon staying together? See that doesn't make any sense (not that I expect these monkey writers to write something that makes sense any more  ). If MJ switched the results so it appears that Nick is the father, that runs the risk of Nick and Sharon really staying together, leaving Phyllis free to cry on Jack's shoulder all the time - which we know she doesn't want. This would have been the motivation for her to do a switch, regardless that she wouldn't have forseen Sharon lying. No, I don't think she switched the results; the baby really is Nick's I believe.
