Has anyone else noticed???

I've been reading through alot of threads in the last few days and have began to notice a pattern...all the people that are so upset about the s/l are "sharon" fans!!! a few weeks ago they were all talking big saying phyllis was getting what she deserved and sharon and nick were gonna get what they deserved...well, now i agree!!! although i really wish phyl wouldn't take nick back, cause that is just out of character...she is too much of a woman to take his sorry azz back!!!! everyone always says sharon and nick were so happy before phyllis..but if that was the case, why was sharon sleeping with brad? and if i remember correctly, that happened before nick and phyllis!! i guess its ok to destory peoples lives, as long and you wine while you do it, and put on your "needy face"...i guess thats the key.. |

It was ALSO wrong for Phyllis to have the ONS with Jack while she was married AND Nick & Sharon to have an affair. Again Phyllis just LIKE Sharon did not have her ONS with Jack until after the affair and they were separated. As far as the s/l goes whatever is happening to Nick, Sharon,Phyllis,Jack I do know that Nick & Sharon will be back together and for WHATEVER reason NICK needs to be by the side of PHYLLIS while "their" little girl in in the coma. We need to see both character development and growth in Nick for him to succeed, he wasn't there for Sharon & Noah But he needs to be there now for Phyllis. So, no I am a fan of Sharon & Nick's but don't have a problem with the s/l except the plot point is a little contrived. Nick needs to be with his family during this "horrific" of times, while a child is in a coma. |

Even though Brad and Sharon had not been physically intimatet they were emotionally...and Sharon prefessed her love for Brad saying "I am "In Love" with you." He returned the feeling. So.... |

THANK YOU!!! finally someone else that remembers the breakup between sharon and nick (last time) wasn't entirely nick and phyllis's fault...yes they shouldn't have had an affair, but it takes two or in this case four. hard to believe everyone remembers phyllis faults from years and years ago, but can't even remember sharons "booboo" from 3years ago...and if memory serves...sharon was also high and midy when she found out about nick and phyl..but, she herself had just slept with brad (but kept that to herself)...hmmm imagine that |

TAKEN DIRECTLY word for word from the cast list. Sharon was devastated & forced to deal with her feelings ALONE after Nick became withdrawn & obsessed with making Daniel pay for Cassies mistake. In the end, Nick came forward with evidence to prove Daniel was innocent. With their marriage on the rocks, Sharon later found out Nick was having an affair with Phyllis Abbott. Soon Nick & Sharon separated, then found their marriage over after Phyllis became pregnant.. Since then(from that time) in 2006, Sharon has found comfort in & had a ONE NIGHT STAND with Brad Carlton,but almost lost her lifelife after being kidnapped by men from Brad's past. Certainlly, Sharon did wrong by becoming involved with Brad BUT it was AFTER the affair and I'm not making excuses for her behavior. EVERYONE in this whole Sharon/Nick/Phyllis/Jack debacle is guilty of cheating with everyone else and no one is better than the other. As far as who's fault the affair was NICK chased after BOTH PHYLLIS & SHARON and while both women contributed to their affairs with Nick and "share" some blame about the actual affairs themselves it was NICK who initiated BOTH AFFAIRS and he was the married man. |

The perfect marriage between Nick and Sharon that is always recalled is a distortion of the truth. A) Because there is no such thing as a perfect marriage because people are imperfect by nature and B) Thei rmarriage was riddled with lies, deceit, cheating and long before Cassie died abandonment issues when Sharon left her home and family for months not letting them know where she was or when she would return. Sharon and Nick are attempting to recapture what they had when Cassie was a young girl and came to them...like the drawing in the picture captures. Problem is Cassie died many years later as a teenager and their marriage had suffered bruises between Cassie's childhood and teen years. Like the song goes...."It's the laughter we choose to remember and forget what's too painful to remember...when recalling the way we were". Conceiving another little girl is not going to heal their wounds or replace a marriage that has been over for many years. Living in the present and getting much needed therapy for a long untreated mental illness that prevents the ability to have a healthy relationship with anyone - especially - a son is more important than attempting to make a dream - a dead child's prediction a reality. This s/l and the relationship is not normal....period. |

But, for years it never went beyond that until the day Sharon kicked Nick to the curb in the Newman office after he revealed the baby proved to be his. She told him to go be with Phyllis, and left the building where she and Brad bumped into each other and she cried her heart out to him about everything. That's when the feelings for one another changed. Beyond that ONS in New York, there was never another sexual encounter between the two of them, even tho as time went on, Brad tried his best to encourage her once again - each time he was rebuffed. |

My only questions are why is it out of character for Phillis to take Nick back? and what makes her too much woman for any man on this show? Phillis has attitude yes but she isn't exactly a strong woman now and never has been from the very beginning. JMO but I'm just curious to know what this woman's true strenghts are when it comes to men? |
