The Young and the Restless - MESSAGE BOARDS

For those who are expecting to see full-on scenes in bed or something as proof, it isn't going to happen. Depending on how far the "affair" goes, we (y'all - I won't be watching) may see these two shirtless in bed or someting, but i really don't think Y&R is ready to go there at this point in time. So there will only be longing looks, a caress, and "post" scenes for now...but, oh, yes they went there.

LOVE this storyline, LOVE the new Adam, and LOVE these two characters slept together. THis one storyline will bring me back begging for more. Thank you Y&R for pushing the envelope and making this a must see soap. Just my opinion....

I'm sorry, I watch soaps to get away from some stuff in reality and to have a s/l straight guy go this far....is wrong on many levels.

As they say you can't please all and this viewer is one of them.....this is not the Y&R I grew up with...

The writers have crossed the line and this viewer is gone.

Yes, they did do it and I feel sorry for Heather, even though she is the way she is. Once she finds out she will be devistated and Adam will loose her for sure. You can tell that they did do it when they were buttoning shirts up. Rafe straightened his tie. This is sick. Hope this thing doesn't last long.

I think the writers accomplished exactly what they were trying to do ---- let the viewer draw his/her own ideas as to what actually took place. Since they had to do a gay sl I am glad they did it this way. I'm already sick of all the bedroom/couch sex scenes anyway so it's ok that there wasn't any more to it.

Well I think that Adam calls Heather because something did happened but they haven't show it because like soapgran has said let the viewers think what we think happened.
And I think that he is trying to prove to the viewers that he is manipulative and not gay.

I think it's obvious that it happened. Adam looked like he was going to vomit afterwards. I mean don't you think that's a little drastic for Adam to switch sides like that just so he won't get caught? Come on they have really crossed the line on this one. If they were two characters in love that would be one thing but Adam is just desperate and what he did today in my oponion was apauling. I want to applaud Chris Engen for taking a stand against this story line. It's obvious that it had nothing to do with the character being gay but everything to do with morals. I'm really surprised that people are going for this. Everyone talks about the women on the show that they consider to be tramps well I guess they can add Adam to their list now.

I second that emotion. Hope this s/l ends soon.

Don't you think that he has to pretend that he is not playing Rafe that he didn't unbutton his shirt to protect his own behind. And what better way is to really fool Heather in thinking that he is innocent and pretending that it is not is why he called Heather.
Now I don't want Adam to be gay but the question is he really in the closet or pretending to come out of the closet.

I am so sick of discusting sickening Adam! This so-called gay story line should offend any gay person. It is enough to make one vomit. Kill off that creepy Adam.
