NICK/PHYLLIS/SHARON/JACK
The twist of fate that places Summer in a coma has Nick reliving Cassie's last days and allows him the opportunity to put his words into action and not make the same mistake twice! Nick has to accept the "here and now".
Sharon knows Nick cannot leave Phyllis and Summer now and how much he wants a chance to make the mistake he made years ago right. To do that she knows he will not walk away now. So she does. CLASSIC SOAP

Yes Sharon lies to Jack along with everyone else who will be deceived. But hasn't nearly everyone in GC for one reason or another been deceived into thinking they are someone they are not? Nothing new about this s/l. Actually it has been played out by every soap numerous times. CLASSIC SOAP

Ashley/Adam s/l is another whole story.....has a "Dark Shadows" element to it. What is disturbing is not just WHAT Adam did to Ashley's baby but the cavalier attitude about it..as though so what..big deal..a baby is gone? The other major problem is the disjointed parts and feats a blind man is doing (Adam pointed them out himself to Rafe LOL) along with the impossibility of Aashley losing the baby by miscarriage (the amt of blood and Adam having to actually care for the clean up of Ash) or the fact that she is carrying around a decaying fetus....UNBELIEVABLE PLOT HOLE THAT NEEDS PLUGGING!

PCIII/CANE
Here is where the idiocy comes from; faulty or tampered with DNA tests and an empty grave. There are dozens of loose ends and questions the viewers will want to have answered and DNA matches (Billy & Cane) explained from the cheek swab or blood tests......get it right and set this story line straight... A RETCON WITHOUT CONSISTENCY

ART FORGERY.....that remains in the wroks and will offer some surprises along the way. Lets hope it is a cleaner s/l with its i's dotted and t's crossed not leaving the twisted mess the Cane/PCIII and Ash/Adam s/l have brought to the screen!

COUPLES.....Ping...Pong...hey they want people to keep watching and what better way to do it than to have you waiting, pining and yearning for a favorite couple to unite? Once united...boring and time to tear them apart again..right???? Eventually everyone will be where they belong...well at least for a little while!

I have come to the conclusion that the writers simply do not care nor does CBS. If enough people stop watching (as I have) may be it will make a difference. It is a shame what they have done to this once great soap. Shame on them.

Is there anybody out there listening to the fans? Do they even bother reading the blogs? I understand soaps are not reality but what is wrong with adding alittle reality to the storyline. It is like a bad dream!

The Michelle Stafford Show has become such a snooze fest! These writers apparently don't know what they are doing-losing fans at rapid speed-I sure hope they know what they are doing???

WHO'S WATCHING

While there is alot of dissatisfaction with the current s/l's voiced on this Message Board there may not be as much dissatisfaction and maybe even viewers who like the way this is going out there. Think about it.

* This show is broadcast to many foreign countries
all over the world as well as throughout the USA.
Do we ever hear what viewers in those farr off
places think?
* This show is viewed all over the USA where not
only dialects are different depending on where
people live and work but traditions, tastes and
opinions can be as varied as the people whose
dialects are different from one another.
* There are viewers who want a certain couple together
and there are viewers who don't want this certain
couple together. Can't please everyone all of the
time so the writers please some of the people some
of the time.

Still the holes in the stories, bloopers in the script and in the set the scenes are played out on are reaching epic proportions. Someone needs to "Take Charge" as Cane would say. LOL

In the meantime.....let's not throw the baby out with the bathwater.....this soap has been in the winning circle for more than 20 years and continues to sit at the top of the charts. Lets hope it stays there...and if MAB can't do it....OFF WITH HER HEAD...OR AT LEAST TAKE AWAY HER LAPTOP!

!) And .. I thought I was the only one thinking this way...I'm so sick of this story line with Nick & Sharon & Phyllis!! Just when I thought the writers were finally going to let Nick & Sharon go back to being happy again..what do they do??? Screw everything up again...I'm with the other disgrunted ex-fans...I'm definitely taking a break from this show!!! And if the show keeps with this dump story line...Jack's baby!! Come on...get a life!!! I'm outta here for a long time and maybe never come back...

I so agree MamaMia, I so sick of y&r just when you think everything is going to be ok. Bam! everthing goes haywire. Why would Sharon tell Jack the baby is his? I'm really getting sick of this, the writer needs to be replaced. Enough is enough, Sharon and Nick belong together, and Summer needs to be jack's it's that simple. Sorry but I won't watch the rest of this week,this is sicking. I've watched Y&R since i was a kid with my grandmother, but come on this is getting crazy. I could have just slapped Sharon when she told jack the baby was his. But like I said no more for me this week just can't stand the craziness.
