Summer doesn't eat peanuts (peanut butter cookies), but MJ eats the cookies (which Phyllis threw out) and deliberately kisses Summer good-bye on the mouth. Hence, Summer has a violent reaction.

But, I gotta say. Why did Phyllkill have peanut butter cookies lying out like that when she knew the babysitter was bringing Summer there after school? It's not really a bash of Rashy, but my niece is severely allergic to peanuts and her mom - and all of us - make sure there is nothing even associated with peanuts around when she's over. Just thought that was so obviously contrived that peanut butter cookies were lying out like that.

Yes, the stage is being set for the final reunion of Shick (and perhaps Phack). Both JM and SC, if I recall correctly, indicated that the "messy" road to their reunion would seem to culminate around October. I can tune out until then for sure because there really isn't another s/l that has me truly vested right now. P3/Cane is the only one of minor interest, and that's mainly due to the great acting of NC, JC, JW and TB.

Trust me Soulsistah. I see things coming from a mile away. I've been watching soaps my whole life and know what direction the writers are planning to take. It's just too much information to jot down.

I analyze every dialogue, every scene and every squint. If there's a coded message behind a certain line...I'll know.

Who is whose father and who the he!! are you???? Who am I????? Everyone in GC is asking these questions and looking for answers in graves, DNA tests, messages from the dead in dreams.....under the bed....in the closet.....anywhere!! This is not just a child's (Summer) crisis or a seasonal (Summer) crisis it is an ongoing crisis that is growing day by day for over a year with no end in sight until all the families are pulled apart and restructured the way MAB wants them.

Ok.

Well then I guess that's MAB perogative, just like it was LML's perogative when she was head writer to break apart and build the families she wanted to see.

Hush - those that watch for the signs, will see them. Soaps these days aren't hard to figure out as to what will happen. The only real surprise element left is when things will happen.

Phyllis must have things work out for her no matter what and she must be allowed to hurt and malign others at will with no repercussions. No, none. So listen up everyone, you all must feel very, very sorry for Phyllis because, because, umm....she's Phyllis and her hurts and pains and her daughter's take precedence over anyone else's. Yougotthat?! No happiness for anyone but Phyllis. We clear?

No matter how sad this is about Summer,(and this part with MJ being this over-the-top crazy, is something I don't want to see) it is so hard to believe Sharon will keep the paternity a secret and actually end up lying to Jack, and hurt him that much, and then Nick, with Summer so ill, she goes and kicks him when he is down, telling him "it is a girl, and oh, by the way this is Jack's"?

Even though it was the weekend, I couldn't get that scene with little Summer on the floor out of my head. This is the toughest story to digest out of all of them! The writer's keep pushing the envelope. I wonder how long we will have to see Summer in the bed with all of the machines hooked up to her. I am very much against this S/L being dragged out. It's just too sad to watch day after day.

Nick present reality is his "do over"...he can't change the past but he now has a choice to make that gives him his "do over" with his current wife and daughter....and while he makes the choice not to walk away Sharon makes sure he makes the right choice this time by lying to Nick about her baby's paternity.

Problem is she doesn't have to lie about her baby's paternity...he will not walk away from Summer as he did Cassie and Sharon in Cassie's last days. He will not repeat that mistake again with Phyllis and Summer even when Phyllis tells him he doesn't have to be there. He could still be a father to Sharon's baby...and even remarry Sharon when/if Summer gets well. But Sharon makes a bigger mess for herself, her baby and everyone..sigh..by trying to be the selfless one and use Jack and deny her baby it's birthright in the process. Selfish or selfless..matter of opinion. Ironic yes! Nick gets his "do over" but not as neither he nor Sharon expected!!!
