BIOGRAPHY

Michael Damian Weir was born in 1962 in San Diego, California. The multi-talented performer was chosen for his best known role, as rock star Danny Romalotti on The Young and the Restless, after being spotted on American Bandstand in 1980.

Michael has appeared on other television programs such as "The Facts of Life," and "Hollywood Squares," and has appeared in several TV movies and films, including a cameo in "Young Doctors in Love".

At one point, Damien starred in Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat" on Broadway. He began a singing career at a young age and over the years has released 5 albums and has had 8 top 40 hits including his #1 single "Rock On", which earned him his first gold record.

Michael and his wife, Janeen, began their own film production company with titles such as "Finders Keepers," "Hot Tamale," and "Moondance Alexander" to their credit.
