BIOGRAPHY

Vanessa Marano was born on October 31 1992 in Los Angeles, California. Her mother runs a theater, so it wasn't long before the acting bug bit! Her mother resisted Vanessa's repeated requests to launch such a career, but eventually gave in, and both Vanessa and her sister wound up signed with an agent.

Vanessa jumped right into acting, landing numerous television roles, including such well-known series as "Without a Trace," "The Comeback," "Malcolm in the Middle," and as April on "Gilmore Girls".

The young actress did voice work on "Finding Nemo", and appeared in "The Clique". Her most recent film work is in "Dear Lemon Lima". She has joined Y&R as a recast Eden.

Vanessa is a homebody, who loves to hang out at her mother's theater. She has just started college, after completing an accelerated program of high school courses.
