BIOGRAPHY

Daniel Goddard was born on August 28, 1971 in Sydney, Australia. He had nearly finished his degree in Finance when he decided to drop out and join the Ensemble Actors Studio.

Daniel performed in live theater before landing a role in the Australian soap, "Home and Away", as Eric Phillips. Daniel next made the decision to try his luck in Hollywood, and once he arrived, made a living doing commercial modeling. He worked on 'Dolce and Gabbana' and 'Calvin Klein' campaigns until he scored the lead role of Dar in "Beastmaster" and returned to his native Australia to tape the series. After that, Daniel landed television guest spots in series such as "Monk" and has also appeared in a handful of films. In 2007, Daniel was offered the contract role of Cane Ashby on The Young and the Restless.

Currently, Daniel lives in Los Angeles, California with his wife, Rachel Marcus, and their sons Ford, who was born in 2006, and Sebastien who came along near the end of 2008!
