America Ferrera Wins Screen Actors Guild Award! Thursday, February 01 2007

Congratulations to America Ferrera from Ugly Betty! The talented actress was awarded once again for her exceptional portrayal of Betty Suarez. On January 28, 2007 America took home the award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series at the Screen Actors Guild Awards Ceremony. Other nominees included Felicity Huffman (Desperate Housewives), Julia Louis-Dreyfus (The New Adventures of Old Christine), Megan Mullally (Will & Grace), Mary-Louise Parker (Weeds) and Jaime Pressly (My Name is Earl). This award comes on the heels of her winning a Golden Globe Award in the same category. Way to go America!
