Ugly Betty..good as gold!
On January 15, 2007 Ugly Betty was awarded with the Golden Globe for Best Television Comedy by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. Ugly Betty edged out other hit shows including Desperate Housewives, Entourage, The Office and Weeds to claim the top spot. An already emotional America Ferrera (Betty) followed up the shows win by taking home the award for Outstanding Actress in a Television Series-Comedy or Musical.


America wins big!
America expressed how grateful she is for having the chance to play a role that is focusing on the beauty within and putting a new type of face on television.

Congratulations to America and the entire cast of Ugly Betty on their victorious night!
