Tony Plana portrays Ignacio Suarez (Betty's hard working father) on the ABC primetime drama Ugly Betty. The actor has numerous credits on television shows such as The Golden Girls, Falcon Crest, Commander in chief and the critically acclaimed series Monk. He also has appeared in numerous films such as the ever popular An Officer and a Gentleman. When not appearing in feature films or television shows, he can be found directing, writing and/or acting in stage productions.
