Ugly Betty team accepts award!
Congratulations to Ugly Betty for another night of awards! The 38th Annual NAACP Image Awards were televised on Friday March, 2 2007. Ugly Betty took home the award for Outstanding Comedy Series. In addition Vanessa Williams was honored with the award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her portrayal of Wilhelmina Slater. Writer Silvio Horta won the award for Outstanding Writing in a Comedy Series. The premier season has proven to be a big one for the Ugly Betty team. They have also been awarded at other ceremonies including the Golden Globes and the Screen Actors Guild. Way to go Ugly Betty!
