Ethan and Luis commiserate over the women in their lives, while Gwen and Sheridan vow to do whatever it takes to hold on to them; Theresa tries to reason with Juanita and plans for the double wedding don't go so well.
Luis comes into the living room of the cottage after calming Marty down and putting him to bed. Sheridan tells him that she never wants Fancy near Marty again. Luis tries to stand up for Fancy, but Sheridan thinks she's becoming unhinged and fears for Marty's safety. She tells him that they failed Marty once when Alistair took him and now he needs a safe and secure environment to grow up in and Fancy is a threat to that. Luis again defends Fancy, but Sheridan says that Fancy has always been volatile and self-centered and compares her to Alistair.
Tabitha looks in Maria's room for Miguel's letter, while Endora tries to get her attention. Tabitha says she's busy because her whole future is in that letter. Endora's thought bubble says that she has the future in her hands because she found the letter, but Tabitha is too distracted to notice. Endora puts the letter in a doll's head unbeknownst to Tabitha.
At the kitchen table, Kay, Miguel, Paloma and Noah try to come to an agreement on their wedding plans, but it becomes obvious they all want different things. As they disagree on everything from the food to the music to the cake, Kay suggests they all learn to compromise. The women agree they want to save money, but the men say they don't. Kay and Paloma are surprised by this, but Noah and Miguel say they don't want to worry about money when it comes to their wedding because it's supposed to be special. Kay and Paloma try to convince their men they shouldn't splurge and end up with credit card debt, but Noah and Miguel are determined to make the day memorable. Noah still can't understand how they will all be able to come to an agreement on their wedding and Miguel turns on the radio so they can all dance, because romance is the one thing they can all agree on.
In the Crane kitchen, Ethan is upset that he can't find Theresa and Gwen tries to get him to see that he needs to let her go. Ethan resists it at first, but then tells Gwen she's right. Gwen tells him that she and Jonathan are his family and will always be there for him and kisses him.
In Mexico, Theresa looks for a way out of Juanita's house but realizes that all the doors are electrified and she's trapped. She worries that she will die there and is upset that she didn't tell Ethan goodbye. Theresa wonders what will happen to her as Juanita enters the room with a gun and asks if she's ready to die. Theresa pleads with Juanita to leave her and her family alone because they have suffered enough already. Juanita doesn't think she knows the meaning of suffering and Theresa recounts her family's past. Juanita is unsympathetic, but wants to hear more about the Lopez-Fitzgeralds' heartache. Theresa starts to tell her about Ethan and Juanita sits back and asks her to tell her the whole story. Theresa goes through her and Ethan's entire history and Juanita says she has a much deeper understanding of her now. Theresa is hopeful that Juanita will let her go because she understands love. However, Juanita says that what she understands is that Theresa is just like her lying, cheating mother and deserves to die. Theresa is shocked because she thought Juanita understood her, but Juanita throws everything she did to Gwen in her face and says that her story convinced her that she isn't fit to walk on this planet. She tells Theresa that if all her siblings are like her then she will be doing a public service by wiping them out, sort of like a peace treaty between Mexico and the United States. Juanita then tells Theresa that Pilar seduced her husband, had sex with him and then killed him in cold blood. Theresa doesn't believe it saying Pilar lives by the church, but Juanita calls Pilar the devil and recalls how her children were killed. Juanita points her gun at Theresa and says she should kill her right now so she can witness Pilar's face when she sees her daughter lying in a pool of her own blood. Juanita changes her mind and says that she will wait to shoot Theresa, so she can do it in front of Pilar. Pilar calls and Juanita promises to release Theresa in exchange for Pilar and Theresa tries to yell out that it's a trap. Juanita of course hangs up in time and says that Pilar is in town and soon, she will kill them both.
Ethan and Gwen come to Sheridan's cottage hoping to see Marty, but learn he's already asleep. Ethan asks Luis if he's seen Theresa, but Luis doesn't know where she is. Ethan expresses his concern for her and thinks she's in trouble. Ethan tells Luis and Sheridan all that has happened between them lately and Gwen shares that Theresa has another man. Luis doesn't believe it, saying she is totally loyal to Ethan. Ethan says that's what he thought, but Theresa admitted it to him. Gwen sheepishly sips her wine and Sheridan looks at her suspiciously. Luis then goes into his own tale of woman woes describing Fancy's bizarre behavior.
Sheridan privately asks Gwen what's really happening because Theresa would never cheat on Ethan. She asks if Gwen and Rebecca had anything to do with it and Gwen just smiles and says that Theresa is going to get a taste of her own medicine. Gwen thinks Sheridan would use what she could to hold on to Luis as well and asks if she had anything to do with Fancy's freak out. Sheridan says Fancy is sabotaging her relationship with Luis all on her own and the women toast to the two of them triumphing.
Luis and Ethan talk about Theresa and Luis asks who the man is that Theresa cheated on him with. Ethan says he didn't go in the room to find out and Luis says it was stupid for him not to investigate. Luis insists that there is some other explanation than the story Ethan was given. Ethan hopes there is and tells Luis not to give up on Fancy. Luis says he will give Fancy a chance to explain and starts to leave so he can find out what happened that night. Before he leaves he tells Ethan that now is not the time to give up on the women they love and he should give Theresa a chance to explain.
Gwen and Sheridan agree that they will do whatever it takes to hold on to the men they love and then some!
