Tabitha has to make a heartbreaking decision, Luis and Miguel's sentence is pronounced, Valerie confronts Vincent, Chris leaves with James.
At home, Tabitha and Endora fondly remember terrorizing Spike and the ladies from the private school. She is now sure that Endora will never have to go to a school with mortals. Tabitha begins to sense however, that Endora isn't sure this is what she wants. As Tabitha ponders and looks at her home autopsy kit, she wonders if she is enough fun for her daughter. When she asks her to play, Endora is distant. Tabitha puts on her special glasses so that she can reader her daughter's mind. She can see that Endora wants to play with others, even humans. Tabitha is sad that her little witchling doesn't just want to play with mommy anymore. This is like that time that Timmy heard the children singing Christmas carols and wanted to be like them. He didn't want to live apart from mortal life on the dark side with her and now Endora wants that too. She sadly wonders if she is losing her daughter just like she lost Timmy. That's not something that she can go through again. She asks for Timmy's help deciding what is right for her daughter. A white feather falls into her hand and she cries as she thinks about how much she loves her daughter. She has to love her enough to let her go. Walking over to Endora, she tells her that maybe pre-school is a good idea. Endora is happy, but she wonders how she can go after scaring the ladies from the school away. Tabitha tells her not to worry; she can fix that easily.
Searching the Crane grounds, Paloma topples a suspicious man. After cuffing them, she realizes that it's Noah and is not impressed by his persistent hanging around. She accuses him of not trusting her, but he says that his car wouldn't start and he just came up for jumper cables. She tackles him to the ground and they start making out until it begins raining. They wrestle around and get soaked. Going inside, she rushes off to get some towels. She gets him to strip down and then starts toweling him off.
Valerie refuses to believe that Vincent is cheating on her when he says that he loves her. 'Any man that cheats on a woman isn't worth a damn!' Whitney exclaims. Chad tries to stifle his panic and remains quiet. Whitney explains that she caught Vincent. 'He was there with another woman?' Valerie says, hardly able to believe it. 'Not quite,' Chad thinks to himself. Whitney tells her that she needs to protect herself from diseases. Valerie remarks on how lucky she is that she's married to a man like Chad. As Valerie becomes outraged and eager to confront Vincent, Chad tells her to wait so that things don't get worse. Valerie decides that she will confront him anyway and find out who he has been cheating with. Whitney offers to go and help her take down 'the skank' when she finds her. After Valerie storms off, Chad makes an excuse and runs out. He follows her to her house. From outside, he can hear them screaming at each other. Looking inside, he can see them fighting. 'Vincent's going to kill Valerie,' Chad realizes before he begins banging on the door.
In the cottage, Chris bluntly tells Sheridan that he and James are leaving her permanently: The marriage is over. He can't be in a marriage when his wife is in love with another man. She tries to say that she only loves Luis as a friend but Chris isn't going to accept the excuse this time. He doesn't think that she'll ever get over Luis; he feels like he has only been her husband in name. They shouldn't lie to themselves anymore and he won't be her second choice. She begs him not to go and tells him that he and James are her present and her future. 'If you love me, you will give me the chance to be the wife that you deserve,' she pleas. Leaving is not what he wants, he admits. She kisses him, but then the phone rings and she puts the TV on to see what's happening at the trial. As the announcer talks about 'the shocking use of judicial power', Sheridan keeps repeating Luis' name. Chris gets James and brings him in to say goodbye. She tells James that she will always love him. Chris sends him out to the car and she begs again for them not to leave. 'You left me the moment you knew that Luis wasn't dead after all,' he says, hoping that she'll he happy with them gone. Taking his bags, he walks out. 'Goodbye my love,' he says quietly to himself before climbing into the car. Sheridan has lost everything: Luis, Marty, James, her baby with Chris and Chris himself.
At the courthouse, Ethan gets off the phone with Judge Reilly. The judge wants to sentence Luis and Miguel right now. Fancy says that the judge can't do this without the jury and Grace present. Ethan says the judge is doing it anyway, but he still thinks that he can file an appeal. Fancy starts blaming herself, but Theresa says that it's her fault. Ivy tells her daughter to think positive thoughts. Fancy knows that this is a stupid thing to say. Ivy hugs her daughter and walks away.
In the corridor, Julian is enthusiastic about all of this. The blackmailer has done all of the work for them. Fox suspects that the blackmailer is just getting started. Pondering this, Julian wonders who could be next. Anyway, Miguel will be in prison soon and then Dr. Gasparro can 'cure' Fox. Kay comes by to say that she is going to sit with Pilar. As the two women walk away, Julian wonders if Pilar will become the saint of housekeeping or bad mothers. Fox defends Pilar and insists that the Crane's are to blame for everything that's happened to the Lopez-Fitzgeralds. Julian rolls his eyes.
In the courtroom, Ethan eagerly awaits a message while the judge walks in. Ethan gets his message: There are cases on record that would allow him to go to the governor to stop Reilly from doing what he's trying to do. As Reilly is prepared to pronounce sentence, Ethan rises to object. The judge tells him to shut up but Ethan goes on to explain that he is expecting the governor to halt this proceeding as per case law. Theresa gets excited, sure that things are turning in their favor. The judge was aware of these objections however, so he obtained, in advance, the governor's permission to do this. When he's handed the written authorization, Ethan is gobsmacked. The judge tells him to shut up and sit down so he can declare Luis and Miguel's fates. Miguel is sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. Luis is found guilty of rape, murder and arson and is sentenced to death by lethal injection.
