Chad can't stop Whitney, someone is watching Paloma, Judge Reilly has second thoughts, Chris makes a major decision.

Paloma has been sent to the Crane mansion to receive a delivery. To her surprise Noah arrives to deliver wine. They start making out again when she breaks away and tells him that she has to be professional. He doesn't listen and keeps kissing until she reminds him that she has to stay focussed. She tells him that she'll show him down to the wine cellar. He likes the sound of that: 'I'll pop your cork and you can pop mine,' he jokes as she laughs. Whenever he is in her presence or sees the light in her eye, he feels like making love to her over and over. She blushes as he continues talking about how much he loves spending time with her. After they take all of the wine downstairs, she reminds him again that she is on duty and he needs to go. He tells her that she impresses him before kissing her goodnight over and over again until she has to push him out the door. After he leaves, there is a knock at the door. When she opens it, no one is there. In the distance, someone lurks in the bushes.

Chad returns home with pizza and flowers for Whitney. At the door, he can hear that she has company. Inside her find Whitney telling Valerie that she has bad news for her. Valerie doesn't want to give them the wrong impression but she wishes that Vincent was there. No one has ever made her feel as happy as he has. Whitney tells her that she may want to reconsider that because her bad news is about Vincent. Valerie starts to panic, thinking that something terrible has happened to her lover. Interrupting, Chad takes Whitney aside and reminds her that this is none of her business. She can't understand why he's protecting Vincent, besides, he could have all sorts of STDs and she won't let him put Valerie in danger. He continues trying to convince her to keep quiet but she says she has to tell the truth about 'what Vincent's been doing.' Overhearing this, Valerie asks her what that means. 'Vincent has been cheating on you,' Whitney bluntly states. Valerie begins to tear up, barely able to believe what she's just heard. 'Way to go. Now he'll kill us both,' Chad think to himself.

In the courtroom, everyone is crushed when the guilty verdict comes in. First Theresa and then Kay try to comfort a distraught Pilar. She can't believe that her prayers for her sons' innocence went unheeded. Julian and Fox look on. As Julian makes snide remarks, Fox thinks that even he's being too cold. Julian is just looking forward to having the Lopez-Fitzgerald brothers finally out of the way. Ivy approaches Fancy and tries to tell her daughter that this is not her fault. Fancy still feels guilty for the way that the DA twisted her words against Luis. Sheridan pops in to accuse her niece of ruining Luis' life just like she ruined Pretty's. Ethan and Theresa are both blaming themselves for the convictions. He suggests that they try and do something positive. Calling everyone together, he tells them that it's not over and he will work to turn over the verdict. All of the irregularities in the trial are sure to allow new trials to be called. They have time before the sentencing to prepare so there is still hope. As the pack run off, Ivy points at how Fox's wife so easily runs to the side of another man. He tries to put on a brave face. Soon Miguel will be hauled away and he can have Kay all to himself. Julian tells his son that he has to go with the rest of them and watch Kay say goodbye.

Luis and Miguel are led into a little room to await the prison bus. They still can't believe they were found guilty. Luis suspects that this is just the beginning however. 'We're just the first casualties in some sick secret war,' he states. Kay comes in and tells Miguel how much she will miss him as Pilar weeps on his shoulder. Fancy and Theresa comfort Luis and Sheridan tells him that things have to get better. Luis becomes angry, he doesn't want to talk to her about any of this; most of it is her fault. Sheridan sadly walks away and Ethan tells her that she needs to give Luis some space with his family. 'Luis is my family,' she says. Ethan tells her that she should be looking after Chris right now, he heard her admit that she loves Luis in court. Sheridan knows that this can't be a good thing and, after Luis sends her a hateful look, she leaves.

Judge Reilly is in his chambers drinking to make himself feel better for what he's just done. He's done bad things before, but nothing this bad. Thinking that it's not too late, he starts planning to have the verdict overturned due to Grace's antics in the courtroom. Then the blackmailer comes up on his computer screen and tells him that their association is far from over. This reign of terror is just beginning and there is still much more for him to do. When the judge refuses to go along with the blackmailer's plans, the blackmailer begins to dance before the word 'Marrakesh' comes up on the screen. Realizing that they know a horrible secret, the judge agrees to do whatever they say.
Ivy tries to comfort Ethan by telling him that he did the best that he could. He thinks that he can still do more and sits down with his clients to try and convince them that they still have a chance. Suddenly, Judge Reilly calls and Ethan assumes that he's reconsidered his verdict. 'Blah blah blah,' says the judge before asking Ethan to bring his clients back into the courtroom so that they may be sentenced immediately.

At home, Chris has realized that it's over between he and Sheridan after she confessed to loving Luis on the stand. He tells James that they need to go away. Mommy is busy and they have to get out of her way. He assures James that his mother loves him with her whole heart and soul. 'Sometimes I envy you that,' he says melancholically before sending his son up to pack. They can have an adventure, just like the pirates in the books he likes to read. When James goes upstairs, Chris is left to think about how much he has actually grown to love James as a son. He prays that he can be a good father to the child and that Sheridan will forgive him for taking him away. Later, Sheridan returns and asks if there is a problem with James. 'Not with James,' Chris says before she starts talking about Luis. Looking around, she notices that all of his bags are packed. James comes out and Chris tells her that he and James are going away together. Numbed and stupefied, she can barely say anything.
