For those of you who were wondering when the devilishly wonderful Liza Huber (Gwen Winthrop) was going to give birth, we can tell you that she is now the proud mother of a baby boy. Liza and husband Alex Hesterberg brought beautiful little boy Royce Alexander into the world on December 23rd at six a.m.. He is 19.5 inches long and weighs 7lbs 10 ounces. The long time Passions regular released the following statement on her website:

'Royce is such a beautiful and sweet baby. We are so in love with him! I want to thank you all for your prayers and well wishes. We feel so blessed to have this wonderful, healthy new baby.'

Liza taped her last episode on December 18th and will be on maternity leave for an unannounced period of basking with the newest addition to her family. But Gwen fans don't despair, Liza will still appear in episodes for the next several weeks thanks to delays between taping and airing. She has also been conformed to return; there are no plans of Gwen exiting the show or of the part being recast.
