Martsolf and Cardillo (NBC)
Gaydar is a parody of the popular master/student films such as The Karate Kid and Kill Bill. It will be shot around Los Angeles by Karen Wilkens, who just happens to be an Emmy nominated director who has been working on the Passions directing team for years. Previous to joining up with Passions, she directed for the now defunct soap Another World, scooping up a Directors Guild of America honor in the process. In addition to Martsolf and Cardillo, the film will also star Gregory Zarian and Jenny Shimizu, with the promise of a celebrity cameo or two.
Gaydar is being produced by Myrina films, who are currently seeking donations to help fund this and other projects. Those who donate now will be eligible to win tickets to see Cindy Lauper on her True Colors tour or even a producer credit. For more information, please check out their official site.
