Tabitha complains to Endora about what's become of Halloween. Her only reason she takes Endora trick or treating is so they don't arouse suspicions about what they really are. When a little girl comes to her door as an ugly witch, Endora zaps her into a pretty witch. That's what real witches look like. Endora zaps ghosts and spirits into her home for more authentic Halloween spirit.
Outside the house, Kay can't forget how she hurt her family. Fox tries to ease her pain. People should be angry at Ivy not Kay. However, he does agree Kay could have said something about Ivy's schemes. Kay is afraid that Fox is just as disappointed with her as Miguel. She wouldn't blame him if he wanted to call off the wedding. No way. He loves and understands her. The wedding is still on.
Tabitha dances around the room with the spirits She sees Fox and Kay and Maria headed into the house. She tells Endora to hurry and zap the goblins out of there. The couple comes in. Fox thinks it's past the girls' bedtime. He takes them up to bed. After he leaves, Tabitha and Kay discuss the tragedy which is Kay's life. Tabitha looks at the bright side. At least Kay won't have to choose between Fox and Miguel any more. Kay fears she has lost Miguel's friendship.
Miguel is outside the cottage. He can't believe how selfish Kay was. Even more, he can't believe he still loves her. He walks into Tabitha's house. The tension is thick between them. Fox comes down and whisks Kay away.
In their bedroom, Kay continues to moan about how horrible she is. She is certain no one will come to their wedding. All that is important to Fox is that he will be there.
Miguel tells Tabitha that in spite of what Kay did he is not giving up on her. Tabitha is shocked. Miguel is surprised as well but it proves to him how much he wants to be with Kay. He plans on fighting for her. He heads upstairs. Tabitha thinks he means to start the fight tonight. He claims he is just plans on kissing Maria goodnight. He leaves Tabitha wondering how Grace will take it when she finds out. She is certain Grace will come back to Harmony now.
Julian refuses to take no for an answer when it comes to being a part of his daughter Endora's life. He will sue for custody if Tabitha doesn't give him access. Tabitha refuses. She considers herself the only parent Endora has or needs. Julian believes he has as much right as Tabitha. He's sure the court would side with him against batty Tabitha. It's a wonder to him that Timmy survived with her as long as he did. That offends Tabitha. Timmy was the best thing that ever happened to her or him before Endora came along. She doesn't understand how vile and cruel Julian could ever have been friends with Timmy. Julian says he was his friend and he misses him.
Tabitha changes the subject to Fox and Kay. She thinks it is dastardly what he is doing—making Fox suspicious of the woman he love. Julian believes where there's smoke, there's fire. His behavior proves to Tabitha that Julian would be a bad influence on her daughter. What would Timmy think of what he is doing?
Memories of Timmy go through Julian's mind, bringing a smile to his face. "It would break Timmy's heart if he thought that -- that you were going to take a child away from her own mother." Julian wants to leave Timmy out of it. He remembers how he first met Timmy.
Tabitha has noticed the boiling bubbles in her magic bowl. She sees the awkward situation in the bathroom. She chides Endora for starting the mess. Endora rectifies it by zapping her magic into the bowl.
Julian is distracted for a moment by the way Tabitha speaks to Endora as if she is an adult. It is another reason why he wants Endora with him. And he thinks Timmy would approve of him being part of Endora's life.
They argue until Fox interrupts them. He wanted them to know he found Kay. Julian jumps in with his suspicions again. Fox refuses to listen to him. He gets the wine and goes back to Kay.
The memory of Timmy didn't jolt the cold-heartedness out of Julian. He admits Timmy changed him but Eve stomped on his goodness. He vows he will never let anyone take advantage of him again. He will use everything in his power to get his daughter.
Tabitha shouts at him. "No. No. No." She sees red. In fact, Julian does too because the whole room turns dark red. Tabitha shakes her fist and the room begins to shake too.
Slowly she calms everything down and orders Julian out of her kitchen and warns him that if he backs her into a corner, he will be sorry. Julian leaves after he declares he will get Endora and Little Ethan, too. Tabitha comforts Endora. "No one will ever take you away from me. No one over my dead body."
Miguel and Kay are still inside Endora's head. Miguel doesn't want to discuss Charity. Kay's the one he wants to spend the rest of his life with. Kay believes it is important that they do. What would he do if Charity suddenly showed up in Harmony?
Tabitha watches Miguel and Kay in the magic bowl. Tabitha observes that the course of this love isn't completely smooth. No matter how romantic the setting, mortals seem to muck it up. Endora's bubble says "mortals drool, witches rule." Tabitha agrees that "we witches wouldn't ever subject ourselves to anything as demeaning as love."
Miguel would choose Kay even if Charity was standing right in front of him. She is his soul mate. Charity was just infatuation. Kay is swayed by Miguel's declarations of love.
Tabitha watches with concern for poor Fox. She pleads with Endora to bring them back to reality before it's too late. Endora finally decides to bring them back. She uses her magic but nothing happens. It worries Tabitha. She's afraid the two will be stuck in Endora's head forever!
Tabitha doesn't know what to do. She yells to Kay that she will be rescued soon and not to forget Fox. Kay pulls away from Miguel. She isn't sure if she should believe Miguel. Her marriage to Fox is still on. Miguel continues to woo her away from Fox.
Even though the cars are in the driveway at Tabitha's, Fox does not suspect Kay of cheating on him. Julian is not so sure. He convinces Fox to look for Miguel, certain that he will find Kay in his arms. Fox first checks Miguel's room. No one is there. Proof positive to Julian that she is with Miguel. He advises son to find Miguel and take care of him once and for all.
Fox comes downstairs with Julian. He wants to know where Kay went. Tabitha repeats the story about going to the store for milk. Fox isn't giving up. He is going to call the store. If she's not there, he's going to search the house again. Julian lingers behind. He reaches out to Endora. Tabitha stops him. She orders him away from her daughter. Julian goes but not before he informs her that he wants to be a part of Endora's life. Tabitha vows she will never allow that to happen.
Fox returns to his father. He checked the attic and didn't find the pair. Julian continues to compare his lost love to Fox's relationship with Kay. Fox decides to keep searching in the house for Kay. Julian leaves to talk with Tabitha again.
Julian catches Tabitha and her magic bowl full of bubbles. Tabitha explains it's a science project for Endora. She got it off the internet. Julian accepts the explanation. He is there just to repeat his determination to be part of Endora's life. Tabitha repeats her vow that he won't.
Once the men are gone, Endora tries to bring Kay and Miguel back again. Gray bubbles appear. The magic is working. The bubbles appear in the fairy tale place, also. Miguel begins to fade away but Kay is still solid. Tabitha warns Endora to notch up her magic before Kay is stuck in limbo inside her head.
Endora gets the magic to work. Both Kay and Miguel are fading from the fairy tale place. They return to reality, together, naked and in a bubble bath. Fox just happens to be outside the bathroom door. He hears their noises. He knocks on the door and calls out Kay's name.
Tabitha chastises Endora for her current magic manipulation. As she lectures her on her childish ways, Fox walks in. He asks what Endora has done now. Tabitha covers the magic bowl and her tracks with the lie that Endora was eating chocolate again. Fox is looking for Kay. He woke up and found her gone. Tabitha tells him that she went to the store to get some milk for the morning. He should go back to bed and back to sleep. Instead, Fox decides to stay up and do a little work while he waits for her to come back.
Tabitha orders Endora to get the two back immediately. Endora won't bring Kay and Miguel back until they are engaged!
Finished with his business, Fox plays with Endora. Endora thaws a little toward Fox. Tabitha tries to convince Endora to lighten up on Fox. He was just looking out for her. She looks in her magic bowl. Miguel and Kay are kissing again. It looks like Endora has gotten her wish and Fox is the odd man out. Tabitha warns her that if she is having any second thoughts in favor of Fox, she better get the two back now. Endora will not be rushed.
Julian arrives. Fox is eager to show Julian the numbers he crunched for the business deal he was working on. Julian says hello to Endora. There is a chill between him and Tabitha. She tells Fox to take Julian elsewhere so she can clean up the room. The two take the hint and leave.
Fox notices the grim mood his father is in. He thinks Tabitha is the cause. Julian says she just added to it. Seeing Eve again is the main reason for his foul mood. He tells Fox to marry Kay as soon as he can before Miguel takes her away from him. Fox isn't worried about that. The wedding is taking place and soon. By the way, where is Kay, Julian asks. Fox tells him Kay went to the store. Julian finds it odd then that all the cars are still in the driveway.
