Tabitha is upset with the doctor for finding the antidote and zaps a spell that will make everything the doctor eats taste like poison. Tabitha then tries to finish Gwen off, but her spells boomerang right back to her. She realizes the angels have gotten involved and she pleads with the dark side to give her Endora back after all the evil she just spread.
Tabitha continues to observe on the sidelines and thinks she needs to speed things along. She interrupts the group and asks how Jonathan is doing. She says she overheard they are looking for a bottle and points out the one Theresa hid in plant. Sam picks it up and says he will test it for poison and Tabitha reminds him to test it for fingerprints. Theresa wonders how Tabitha found the bottle as Sam bags up the evidence.
The doctor comes out and tells everyone that the antidote seems to be working, but they will have to monitor Gwen for some time. Rebecca grows impatient and demands that Sam test the bottle. Annoyed at Rebecca ordering him around, Sam tells Rebecca that he will do just that and starts to leave. Theresa panics and stops Sam saying she needs to tell him something about the bottle and the poison. Theresa says she never meant to hurt Gwen and Ethan, again not hearing what Theresa is saying, tells her he knows she would never poison Gwen and defends her to everyone. Theresa then says Rebecca is right, she poisoned Gwen. Ethan is stunned and Theresa says she put the poison in her drink. Tabitha is very pleased and Rebecca demands that Sam arrest Theresa and put her in jail for attempted murder.
Everyone asks for an explanation from Theresa, but before she can say anything, Gwen's monitors go off and the nurse says she's taking a turn for the worse. Rebecca tries to physically attack Theresa saying it's her fault and she will she her in jail, but Sam holds her back. Ethan looks at Theresa and heartbrokenly asks, "Theresa? You confessed?" Tabitha revels at the thought of her plan working and Theresa quietly pleads for Gwen not to die. The nurse yells out that they're losing Gwen.
One Life For Another
After Tabitha, dressed as "the fortuneteller", tells Theresa about the potion, Theresa says she isn't sure. "The fortuneteller" asks if she would rather see Ethan and Gwen get married and Theresa relents and asks if it really works. The woman guarantees it and Theresa asks where she can get it. "The teller" says she has it and Theresa asks that if she gives Gwen the potion, will she be out of Ethan's live for good? "The teller" says Gwen will be out of the picture and Ethan will be all hers. Theresa can't believe after all these years she ran into the fortuneteller again and thinks it's fate. Theresa says she'll do it and "the teller" says it's powerful stuff and once she gives it to Gwen, there's no going back because Gwen will be dead to Ethan. Tabitha thinks to herself that "evil by proxy" will release Endora from the dark side. Tabitha changes the bottle of poison to look like a harmless bottle of potion and gives it to Theresa. Theresa thanks "the teller" for the potion and she tells Theresa to make sure Gwen takes every last drop. Theresa says absolutely and she can't wait until Gwen is dead to Ethan. Tabitha thinks, "You and me both." After Theresa leaves, Tabitha yells out to the dark side and asks if her actions are good enough to get Endora back.
Tabitha, still dressed as the fortuneteller, looks on and becomes antsy that Theresa hasn't used the potion yet. She says to herself that Theresa needs to use the potion so she can get Endora back. She calls Theresa over and asks if she's given Gwen the potion yet. Theresa says she hasn't had a chance because Gwen won't leave Ethan's side. "The teller" urges her to give Gwen the potion now so she can have Ethan all to herself.
"The teller" sees Ethan and Gwen talking to the doctor and tells Theresa now is the time to pour the potion into her tea. Theresa doesn't think it's a good time because they could be getting bad news about their son. "The teller" says to do it now and Theresa runs off to put the potion into Gwen's drink. Theresa sneaks up to Gwen's drink and thinks that once Gwen drinks the potion she won't care about Pilar's secret and they will all be free. She pours the potion into Gwen's drink and runs off. Tabitha watches and is thrilled.
Gwen signs the papers and the doctor tells her that they will be moving Jonathan so they can work on him. Gwen and Ethan watch as Jonathan is wheeled out and tell him they love him and will be there for him. After Jonathan is gone, Ethan picks up Gwen's tea and gives it to her saying, "Drink your tea it will relax you." Gwen takes a sip and Theresa and Tabitha are both relieved for two very different reasons.
Theresa watches as Gwen continues to drink her tea and notices that Gwen is talking to Ethan. She thinks the potion should be putting distance between them, not bringing them closer. Tabitha also watches and is concerned that Gwen isn't gasping for air by now. Suddenly, Gwen starts to choke uncontrollably and says she can't breathe. Theresa panics, worried about what she gave Gwen and Tabitha celebrates. Ethan and Rebecca come to Gwen's side as she drops to the floor and they call for help.
Evil Is On It's Way
At the hospital, Tabitha says she needs to keep spreading evil in order to get Endora back, especially since bringing Spike and Esme together didn’t work. Tabitha recalls that her magic bowl told her to come to the hospital and cause pain. She’s not sure who she’s supposed to inflict pain on though, until she hears Theresa and Gwen talk. Tabitha hides while she eavesdrops on their conversation.
