The Ultimate Sacrifice

Monday, November 19 2007

In her living room, Tabitha creates a scoreboard of her evil deeds to check her progress, explaining to Kay that she doesn't know how much evil she needs to perform in order to get Endora back. Tabitha tells Kay that she better start dancing on the dark side herself if she wants Miguel back. Tabitha fills Kay in about manipulating Theresa into giving Gwen the poison. Kay is dismayed and says she has to stop her, but Tabitha says she will get Endora back "even if blood has to run in the streets!" Tabitha expresses how much fun she's having wrecking havoc and asks which happy soul she should go after next.

Tabitha looks into the magic bowl and asks Kay if she wants to see who she's targeting, but Kay says she doesn't want to know as long as it doesn't involve her family. Tabitha returns to the bowl and watches Noah and Paloma in bed and sends a spell their way.

Tabitha watches Noah and Paloma and thinks that she will help the seeds of doubt grow and that the couple will become overwhelmed with jealousy and hatred. As Tabitha cackles, Kay wonders what couple she is trying to break up now. Tabitha prevents her from learning her next victim is her brother. Kay leaves the room and Tabitha says to herself that Noah and Paloma will suffer more heartache than they've ever suffered before.

Outside Gwen's room, Sam and Ethan question Theresa. She says she never meant to poison Gwen and goes into the story about the fortuneteller. She explains about the anti-love potion and says she would never try to kill Gwen. Ethan says it couldn't have been her that poisoned Gwen and Sam thinks the potion was a just sham from a kooky fortuneteller and that there's probably nothing in the bottle but soda. Sam asks if anyone else saw her with the woman, and Theresa thinks Tabitha might have seen her. Tabitha says she didn't and Ethan says it doesn't matter because after they test the bottle, Theresa will be cleared. The doctor comes back and tells everyone that the bottle tested positive for poison and that's what almost killed Gwen.

Gwen is being wheeled to another area and Theresa says she's sorry. Rebecca yells at her and accuses her of trying to kill Gwen. After Gwen leaves, Ethan says it's not Theresa's fault, but the fortuneteller's. Rebecca asks what he's talking about and after hearing the explanation, she is unconvinced. Ethan thinks the teller wanted to hurt Gwen and used Theresa to do her dirty work for her. Rebecca asks where the woman is now and Theresa says no one has seen her. Tabitha pipes up and says if no one else has seen her, then Sam will have to arrest Theresa. Sam says Tabitha is right, but Ethan suggests they look at the security tapes because they will show the fortuneteller giving Theresa the bottle of poison. Sam says that's an excellent idea and Sam goes to view the tapes.

Ethan and Theresa are out in the hall of Gwen's new room and Sam comes back with Tabitha and says that there was no fortuneteller on the tapes. Tabitha thinks to herself that witches can't be photographed and looks in a hand held mirror, revealing no reflection. Sam says the security tapes showed Theresa in the ER alone and that they showed her pouring the poison in Gwen's tea alone. Ethan tries to defend her, but Sam arrests her for the attempted murder of Gwen and puts handcuffs on her, much to Tabitha's delight. Ethan promises to clear Theresa's name and that they will get through it together. The doctor enters and says she needs to talk to Ethan and Gwen about their son - it's very important. Ethan is torn because he wants to be with Theresa while she's being booked, but the doctor says he needs to hear about his son. Ethan tells Theresa he'll be at the station as soon as he can and to not make a statement until he gets there. He says he loves her and Sam takes Theresa away.

Theresa Confesses!

Wednesday, November 14 2007

Tabitha, still dressed as the fortuneteller, looks on as Gwen practically chokes to death and is thrilled. She thinks it's pure evil and that if Gwen dies, they will blame Theresa for it. Tabitha says to herself, "When in doubt go back to basics - murder!" She suddenly switches back to her old self and thinks that the dark side can't deny that she's evil now and they will have to send Endora back to her.

Gwen is taken into a room and the doctor tells Ethan and Rebecca she's dying and that she's been poisoned. The doctor tells the nurse to get the Carnival Poison Antidote. Ethan and Rebecca question the name, but the doctor says there was a rash of poisonings from the carnival years ago and they came up with an antidote that saved people's lives. Theresa hears this and connects that her "love potion" is actually poison. She goes to get rid of the bottle and hides it in a plant. Tabitha watches and thinks that Theresa won't get off so easily.
