Inside Marty's office, Natalie opens up about how she's been handling Jared's death, including how she's turned to John. Marty understands, and knows Natalie and John are close, and though Natalie finds it weird to talk about John with Marty, Marty urges her on and thinks maybe Natalie is using John as a 'phantom spouse'. Natalie wonders why Marty would imply that then snaps, "My husband just died and you think I want to go out and steal your boyfriend? My God, you're a manipulative witch!" As the women continue to argue, Marty suggests that Natalie should be careful, by staying away from John, so she doesn't get hurt further. Marty tries to refer Natalie to another doctor, but Natalie demands that she have the guts to admit that her roundabout theory is really to get her away from John. Marty's silence is all Natalie needs for verification. Natalie leaves.

Over at Llanfair, as the drugged cop comes to, saying something about a needle, Brody yells, "Jessica's gone," as Viki walks into the living room. After Brody catches Viki up on what's happened, she's relieved to find Bree still asleep in bed, then assures Brody that Mitch won't hurt Jessica - but they need to get her back. Brody calls John's phone, but Lowell answers it - and says that he's getting John's cell ready as they speak. Though Brody wants to know where Mitch took Jessica, Lowell taunts him by saying to check St. Ann's - where Jessica has a standing invitation. Viki hears that John is being held and agrees to stay at the mansion while Brody heads to the station.

Later, Natalie arrives home to hear what's happened and flips out about Jessica being gone - and about Mitch having the cops in his back pocket. "John will help us," Natalie says then rushes off.

Still at the apartment, though Starr tries to show Dani pictures of Sam and Jack, Dani can't get over the fact that they are all Todd Manning's children. Dani finds out Blair is Starr's mom and tells Starr how much Blair loves her, leaving Starr to remind Dani that Tea loves her too. When Dani asks if she can stay with Starr, Starr agrees - only if Dani calls Tea, promising her that she doesn't have to talk to Todd until she's ready…

Tea and Todd are still at the station when Lowell brings John in - in cuffs - who informs Todd that Lowell had him arrested, so Mitch could go after Jessica. Todd wonders if Mitch took Dani and tells Tea about Mitch's visit, leaving Tea to agree, "So this could be payback…" Suddenly, Todd gets a call and rushes Tea off, saying, "Come on, we've got Dani." Tea hollers back at John, "If you need a lawyer, call me." Lowell confronts John, who warns that no matter what Lowell does for Mitch, it's not worth his life - or that of his family. However, Lowell orders a cop to secure John, saying he's dangerous and tried to kill a man tonight! Brody arrives, finds John in shackles then tells him that Mitch took Jessica. Lowell reappears and warns that Brody's lucky he wasn't arrested too, for going rogue, but Brody denies that being the case. Lowell wants him to prove it and says, "Prove that you can still do your job… Book McBain." Brody agrees then when Lowell leaves them alone, John tells Brody that there has to be a clue in Mitch's letter as to where Jessica is. After Brody has filed the report against John, Lowell reappears, fires Brody then answers John's phone again, telling Marty that her boyfriend is indisposed.

Just as Starr almost persuades Dani to call Tea, there's a knock at the door - it's Tea and Todd. Dani agrees to talk to Tea, so everyone leaves them alone, where Dani can't understand how Tea could want her to call a rapist, dad. All Tea asks is that Dani give Todd a chance and reminds her that she's always wanted brothers and sisters.

Out in the hallway, Todd wonders if Starr was able to help Dani understand how she was able to forgive him for his past, but Starr replies, "No, I couldn't." Starr advises Todd to give Dani time and not to push things - or he'll lose. Todd apologizes for the way Starr found out about Dani and says, "Happy Birthday." Starr's happy that he gave her a sister then says, "Just give her a chance."

Starr rejoins Tea and Dani, who begs Tea to let her stay there. Cole and Matthew join the group, too, and once Tea is convinced that it's okay with them, she agrees to let Dani stay there.

At Capricorn, Blair approaches Markko, wondering where Starr and Cole are. Markko explains what he knows but says that Langston is there - and is having a good time. When Blair hears that Markko invited Ford, she stops Markko from going to look for Langston and agrees to go find her for him…

In a dark corner, Langston briefly pulls away from Ford's kiss, claiming to love Markko, but ultimately can't help herself and indulges in him some more - even when Ford dares her, "Go back to Markko." Though their kissing resumes, Blair interrupts, excuses Ford, then assures Langston, who admits she kissed Ford back, that it's okay - she's not going to tell Markko but warns for her to be careful. "This is serious," Blair says.

Langston joins Markko, who is talking to Ford, thanks Blair for the party then asks him to take her home. Though Ford turns to walk away, Blair says, "Hold on a minute, studly." Blair claims that Langston loves her boyfriend, leaving Ford to say, "I could tell by the way she kissed me." Blair reminds Ford that Langston is a little girl then takes him in a steamy kiss! Blair pulls away and wonders if Ford still wants a relationship with Langston. When Ford says he could be persuaded to go the other way, with a woman, Blair calls him a player - and warns him to stay away from Langston!

When Markko and Langston return home, Starr introduces them to Dani, as her sister. Dani watches as Starr and Tea interact, like mother and daughter, as Langston daydreams about kissing Ford, and sends Markko off to bed alone.

Todd heads over to Llanfair to check up on Viki then shows her a picture of Dani, saying, "That's my daughter. Tea and I have a daughter, and she just found out all about me. I'm afraid I'm going to lose her."

Natalie arrives at the station and demands that Lowell tell her where Mitch took Jessica. When Lowell claims Jessica is probably out stealing someone's baby, John has to stop Natalie from slapping him! Natalie hugs John goodbye, whispering, "I'm going to bust you out of here so be ready," and Marty walks in and sees them!
