Cole's undercover mission spirals out of control, Cris explains the truth to his mother, and Rachel falls victim to Tea in court...

Todd continues to talk to the mayor, at campaign headquarters, about Cole's undercover work, and the mayor assures Todd that he's taking care of it as they speak! Todd worries about the mobsters involved getting to his kids, who 'should' be safe at his ex-wife's house, then the mayor promises that John's days as a renegade are coming to an end - and that he will be in touch!

Dorian arrives, as Todd is leaving, and the mayor assures her that he's taken care of everything. Dorian worries someone else will find out about Cole's undercover work, which would put her family in harm's way, but the mayor promises he won't say a word then changes the subject to Viki - and Dorian announces that she's scheduled a mayoral debate! The mayor is furious, as he hasn't had time to prepare, but Dorian promises to delivery all of Viki's skeletons to him as ammunition!

From his office, John and Fish hear the death threat on Cole then realize Keaton is downstairs in the jail!

Keaton approaches Cole's cell and claims he's on John's task force - and knows he's been working undercover. As Keaton pushes Cole to talk about the case, Cole says, "I still can't believe the mayor is pushing drugs into Llanview," and Keaton pulls out a gun and replies, "That's all I needed to hear." Keaton explains to Cole, "This is how it's going to go down… we struggled, and I had to shoot you."

Suddenly a shot fires - and it's John, he's shot Keaton before Keaton could shoot Cole! Fish and another cop rush in, and find that Keaton is still alive, but Cole can't believe that Keaton is in with the mayor too! Cole tries to leave, but John needs him to stay there until they bring the mayor in.

Back upstairs, John leaves Cole in his office, with Brody, who is armed with a gun, then demands that Brody lock the door! Fish and John rush out…

Serge arrives at campaign headquarters, explains what happened at the station, with Keaton, then informs the mayor that he's going to get to Cole through his girlfriend and daughter! The mayor begins calling Serge stupid, but Serge blames the mayor - and Dorian reappears wanting to know what's going on! The mayor calms Dorian, and urges her to go take care of campaign business, then worries to Serge about what they are going to do. Serge warns, "If I go down, you go down." Serge plans to send Cole a message - through Starr and Cole!

Later, John and Fish arrive at campaign headquarters, with guns drawn, and barge in - looking to arrest the mayor!

At the mansion, Starr leaves another message for Cole, to call her, then is shocked when Todd sends Shaun to protect her. "He's going to get Cole killed," Starr screams. Shaun makes sure all of the kids are accounted for then demands to know why she thinks Todd is going to get Cole killed. Starr manages to turn the conversation to Shaun - and asks about Rachel. Shaun fills Starr in on the tape of Rachel and Greg - and about how he wants to sweep Rachel off her feet, because he's falling in love with her. Shaun wants Rachel to feel the same way!

When Todd arrives, Shaun heads upstairs, and Todd makes sure that Starr and Hope are safe, but Starr demands to know what he's done! Though John calls to check on Starr, Todd assures him that she is fine, hangs up on John then tells Starr he took care of everything - which is exactly what Starr's afraid of!

Suddenly, Serge comes in the backdoor, announces himself as Cole's boss then pulls a gun on Todd and Starr!

When Carlotta sees the 'How To' book with Cris and Layla, at the diner, he tries to explain who it's for, but Carlotta immediately says, "I love you the way you are!" As she goes on and on, saying, "I'm not blind… I saw the signs… and all the trouble you have with women…" Cris makes it clear that he's not gay - as Layla is content to be amused by Carlotta's assumption! Layla finally fills in the blanks, and Cris tells Carlotta not to sound so disappointed that he's not gay! Carlotta only wants her son to be happy, no matter what he religion teaches, and wishes 'their friend' could be as happy. Once Carlotta leaves, Layla bursts out laughing then wonders why Cris can't give Fish the book himself, and asks if he worries someone else will think he's gay. Layla calls Cris 'gay catnip' then says, "This book will mean a lot more coming from you than from me." Cris agrees to give Fish the book.

In the courtroom, Rachel snaps at Greg for his assumptions about Nora and Bo's decision - and demands to be put on the stand to shed some light on Greg's motives! Greg is dismissed, and Rachel is called to the stand, where she claims Greg made his testimony to try to get to her! As Rachel tries to discredit Greg, by saying the truth, claiming that Greg 'thinks' he knows her, Tea discredits Rachel - and makes it clear that Greg has no idea about her past - and about her being a prostitute and a murderer, by killing Georgie Phillips! Nora screams for Tea to stop, as Rachel runs from the courtroom - with Greg going after her, and Matthew interrupts with, "You're fired!"

Tea tries to explain that she was only fighting for Matthew, but the judge calls court back to order. However, as Nora and Tea continue arguing, with Nora wishing Tea had a child, so she would know how Nora feels, Nora smacks Tea across the face - and the judge slaps them with contempt of court - and orders them to jail! Destiny tries to calm Matthew, who blames himself for everything that happened today.

Outside, Greg approaches Rachel, but she screams for him to get away! As Greg apologizes, Rachel cries that he was right - that she is scared, scared of hurting someone if she loses control - but Greg admits he was just trying to get to know the real her. Rachel then suggests that Greg stay as far away from her as he can, but Greg kisses Rachel - and Rachel kisses him back!

Meanwhile, Nora and Tea get comfortable in their jail cell!
