John and Brody find their lives at risk, Starr and Hope's chances of survival dwindles and Stacy receives a miracle...
From John's office, Bo, John and Brody hear the sound of a gunshot through the phone then Serge, who's holding a gun asks, "You want baby now?" They demand to hear Starr's voice then one of the thugs removes her gag, and Starr screams that they are all alive. Serge then gives them thirty minutes to get him his plane and money - or he'll put a bullet in Starr's head! Once he hangs up, Bo says, "We gotta move!"
Walking out into the station room, John and Bo warn Blair, Todd, Marty and Cole to stay put because the kidnappers are getting edgy. "We're going after them," John says then cuffs Todd to a desk!
At the warehouse, Serge allows Starr to hold Hope, warning to keep her quiet - or he'll make her be quiet! As Serge congregates with his thugs, who are worried they'll never get through this, Serge assures, "The only way we are safe are with these rich girls then we'll sell them back to the rich daddy, or whoever will pay the most." Suddenly, there's a bang on the door and the thugs see the cops set up around the building! Serge and his thugs make their escape plans, and one of the men leaves to scoop things out. When he doesn't return, Serge sends the other man to go look for him.
Outside, John and Bo arrive, and Fish fills them in on their stakeout perimeter - John just hopes that Brody gets to his spot in time, or their plan will never work! John worries that Serge will hurt Starr and Hope, when he realizes that his men are being taken down one by one then marches into the street, with his hands up, against Bo's orders, screaming, "Serge, I'm coming in!"
From under the warehouse, coming through the Llantano River, Brody contacts Bo, John and Fish then makes his way upstairs. Brody manages to take one man down, reports it, then heads upstairs, to where Starr and the baby are - and calls Bo to report that they are fine, as he hears John screaming from the street! Serge gives his thug orders to dump Starr and Hope in the river, if he doesn't return, then heads downstairs. Brody then takes out the other thug, gets Starr and Hope downstairs - but Serge gets a call that the cops are inside - then sees Brody running with Starr and Hope and fires!
Though John tried to get through to Serge, he screams, "Shots fired," and him and Bo barge inside and begin to scoop out the building with their guns drawn! However, after they separate, Serge approaches John with a gun saying, "I'll kill you."
As Brody gets Starr and Hope through the passage to the river, Starr paddles away with the baby.
Brody sees another thug, but during a struggle, Brody is stabbed!
At the hospital, after Rachel leaves Shaun's room, Shaun assures his parents that he won't lose Rachel, who they think is a very nice girl.
Shaun's doctor apologizes to Greg, saying he didn't see the lone bullet fragment left behind, and agrees it needs to be removed. "You're going to need a good neurosurgeon for that," he says. As they walk out into the hall, Greg sees Rachel and informs her that Shaun needs another operation - now. Though Rachel doesn't think Greg is objective enough to do the surgery, Greg explains that no one else can.
Greg and Rachel go back into Shaun's room, and after Rachel takes Matthew out into the hallway, Greg says, "Shaun, I have some bad news." After Greg explains all of the details, and claims he can do the surgery, if Shaun trusts him, Shaun replies, "Easier said than done." When Shaun's doctor appears, he informs that Greg has been given clearance to operate if Shaun gives his consent - and Shaun signs the waiver, not wanting to live like a ticking time bomb. Everyone gives their good wishes to Shaun, as Greg takes him into surgery - but not before Shaun tells Rachel he's in love with her… "Be ready to get dazzled," Shaun says, as Rachel and Greg share a stolen glance.
In another part of the hospital, Stacy has to interrupt an argument between Kim and Rex then asks Rex to wait out in the waiting room while she sees the doctor.
With Kim, in the examining room, Stacy worries to Kim that 'it's over', but Kim urges her not to give up and goes over their plan to act dumb when the doctor announces that she's not pregnant. After Kim goes out into the waiting room, to stall Rex, the doctor comes in and shocks Stacy by saying, "You're a few days pregnant." Stacy starts screaming with glee, saying, "It worked!"
The doctor comes out into the waiting room, to get Kim, who heads in to hear the news - that Stacy's pregnant! Before they can further discuss their plan, Rex appears and wonders what they plan to keep him in the dark about! Stacy claims they were talking baby names then the doctor comes in to give Stacy some prenatal pills - but Rex has a few questions of his own for the doctor!
Schuyler meets Gigi at Rodi's. Though she worries he's there to say he's leaving town, Schuyler informs that he's not - because of her! Schuyler assures her that she gave him a lot to think about, made him realize he has a lot to stay for, but he respects her relationship with Rex. Gigi shows him the empty pregnancy box, and though he thinks she's pregnant, Gigi eases his fears then wonders if it's possible that Stacy isn't pregnant after all. Over talk of the situation, Schuyler remembers Stacy trying to seduce him, as Gigi wonders if Stacy was trying to trap Rex by getting pregnant by someone else!
