Rex and Gigi finally make love, Cole and Marty get details about Cole's community service, and Bo, Nora and Matthew have to make a decision...
Still at the carriage house, when Gigi asks for Rex to forgive her for lying to him, Rex wonders if who they are now, after the lies, can make it any further than they did before. Rex relives how she made him believe she didn't want him anymore and wonders why it looked as though it was so easy for Gigi to destroy them. Rex admits he never stopped loving her, even though he wanted to, and wonders where they go from there. Gigi knows exactly where, takes him in a kiss then the two make love!
Out on the mansion patio, Starr explains to Cole that she loves him but can't marry him. Starr takes off her wedding ring and places it in Cole's hand. Though Cole is initially upset, Starr convinces him that they love each other enough to wait and not rush into something because their backs are against a wall.
Inside, Blair sees Tea and Todd getting close, screams for them to get a room then walks by Dorian, who is assuring Langston that she will fix everything with Markko's father during the dinner party.
Across the room, Blair joins Marty and John, as Marty is wishing she could do something to thank John for helping Cole, leading Blair to bring up their annulment! John agrees they need to discuss the details but both decide now isn't the time.
Back out in the foyer, Tea laughs at Todd about how John always seems to save the day for him. Though irritated, Todd can't help but kiss Tea.
Shortly after, Cole and Starr gather everyone around and announce that they are not getting married, that it's not the right time, which makes Todd happy! Starr assures him that they will marry soon, and if he can't be happy for them he just better not come! Cole goes to John, wanting to know when the community service starts, and John thinks they should talk about that now. Cole and Starr say goodbye, and Starr can't wait to tell Hope that they'll be seeing Cole every night - as John watches with concern.
Later that night, at the mansion, just as Langston worries no one will show up for the dinner party, the doorbell rings, and it's Markko and his parents - and none of the other guests have arrived!
When Marty, Cole and John arrive at the station, they see that he's back on the force, and John admits that he took his old job back to help Cole - then explains that Cole will be going undercover.
Over at the Buchanan mansion, Dr. Greg Evans tells Matthew, Nora and Bo that he reviewed his test results and is sure he can help him walk again. Though Matthew is excited to hear he can have the surgery in two weeks, Nora and Bo push for the real facts, which leads Greg to admit the risks - that spinal surgery can be life threatening! After Greg leaves, Matthew, who wants to have the surgery regardless, is angered when Nora refuses to allow it! Bo tries to calm Matthew, saying they need to think this over, but Matthew wants his life back - now! Matthew reminds them of what he deals with daily then asks, "Is that what you want for me? I would rather be dead than spend the rest of my life in this chair!"
When Shaun sees Rachel with Schuyler at The Palace, Destiny takes it upon herself to invite them to join them - and Shaun about crawls under the table when Destiny blurts out, "So, Mr. J., are you dating Rachel?" Destiny continues to work her scheme by spilling a drink on Schuyler then rushes him away from the table for some club soda to clean it up. Once alone, Shaun apologizes to Rachel, who knows that Destiny has gone through a lot to give them some alone time. Shaun is forced to admit that he likes Rachel, who thanks Shaun for the flowers and admits that she didn't think he was that into her. Shaun is happy to hear that Rachel isn't dating anyone else then listens as she talks about being a recovering addict, one who doesn't want to rush into anything too fast. Shaun assures her they'll take their 'dating' slow, which sounds good to Rachel.
By the bar, Destiny tries to clean Schuyler's stain and nonchalantly warns him that it wouldn't be cool for him to be scamming on Rachel - another guy's girl! Schuyler assures Destiny that Rachel is just a friend, who is taking him out to celebrate his first day on the job at the rehab center. Just then, Greg appears, and Destiny rushes into his arms, which alerts Shaun to his presence.
As Greg approaches their table, and tells Rachel he can help Matthew walk again, Rachel is ecstatic but warns that he better not be giving Matthew false hope. As Greg toots his own horn about how Nora and Bo should trust him, Rachel becomes irked by his arrogance, but Destiny rushes into Greg's arms, knowing he would be the one to help Matthew. Rachel grabs her purse and leaves, with Shaun close behind, and Greg asks Destiny if Shaun's really dating Rachel!
Still at The Palace, Schuyler calls Rex and demands to know when he plans to tell Gigi that he slept with her sister!
