An Invitation To A Disaster Party? Thursday, July 02 2009

Dorian does damage control, Starr makes plans for her wedding, and Jessica makes a suggestion to Brody...

Waking up in bed with Brody, Jessica accepts his morning kiss. Later, dressed, Jessica thanks Brody for everything and wishes there was something she could do for him. When she finds an application to the Llanview Police Academy, Jessica thinks Brody would be a great cop - but Brody worries about the past charges that landed him in St. Ann's. Jessica thinks she can help! However, Brody doesn't want Jessica to use her pull with Bo because he wants to do this on his own - and promises Jessica that he'll think about applying.

When Shaun approaches Moe, outside of Tea's bedroom, with the invitation from Dorian, Moe shows him his then Shaun wonders if he plans to go…

As Charlie and Viki are planning their wedding, Dorian arrives at Llanfair with an invitation! Though Dorian claims to want to make amends, Viki and Charlie refuse her invite, causing Dorian to blame them for badmouthing her to the Riveras. "We'd do it again," Viki says. "Wouldn't we, Charlie?" Dorian explains what happened then begs them to attend for Langston, so Dorian can prove to Markko's parents that she's not a monster. Dorian assures Viki that Moe will be there as well. Suddenly, Moe and Shaun call and let Dorian hear them tearing up her invitations! Once she hangs up, Viki turns down her invitation, leaving Dorian to remind Viki of how she saved her life then Dorian leaves screaming thanks for nothing!

After Viki rips up Dorian's invitation, Charlie and Viki wonder how they'll work the guest list, given that Nora and Clint's wedding will be the same day - and Charlie agrees to have a double wedding!

Jessica arrives home, and Charlie leaves the ladies alone. After Jessica explains that Bree was at a sleepover, that's why Jessica was out with Brody all night, Viki comments on how happy Brody makes her - and Jessica doesn't deny it! Viki adds Brody to her guest list.

Todd wakes up in bed with Tea and can't believe he slept that late. Over talk of Starr's wedding, Todd rants about Cole being a drug addict then asks Tea to help him deal with the day by going to the wedding with him. As Todd is finishing getting dressed, Moe and Shaun enter with Tea's breakfast. "Oh," Moe says. "Mr. Manning."

Later, after Todd has left, Moe and Shaun are warning Tea about Todd when Dorian barges into Tea's bedroom with flowers - and an apology to Moe and Shaun, begging them not to make Langston suffer for Dorian's wrongdoings! However, Moe and Shaun again refuse her invitation, and Dorian leaves with one last plea for them to do this for Langston - and Tea reinforces Dorian's plea! Tea then asks Shaun for a ride…

In his office, Bo warns John to stay within the book on this case involving Cole - and not to let things get personal. When the judge arrives, they explain the drug trafficking issues to him then John asks for him to set aside Cole's sentence so they can put him uncover tonight! The judge denies their request, leading John to ask Bo for a minute alone with the judge. John then confides in the judge that this is personal for him!

Brody arrives at the Llanview Police Station and asks if he can apply to the academy! As Brody is struggling with the questions, like, 'Have you ever been convicted of a crime', Bo appears and asks if there's anything he can help him with.

As Marty and Cole are getting ready to order breakfast at the diner, Markko appears to hear that Cole is marrying Starr in an hour then is heading off to Statesville - tonight! Marty gives the friends some time alone, where Cole assures Markko that he'll be okay, as long as he knows Starr and Hope are waiting for him. As Cole asks Markko to be his best man, Markko's parents appear and forbid him from going to Dorian's! They show Markko the invitation then vow not to go anywhere near that mansion! Once they storm off with Markko, Marty rejoins Cole and says, "You're the best thing in my life and don't you ever forget it." Over talk of how proud Patrick would be that Cole is taking care of Starr and Hope, Marty hands him her wedding ring and says she'd be honored if Starr wore it.

Back at the counter, as Markko's parents rehash what Dorian did to the people in town, Markko announces that Viki, Charlie, Moe and Shaun will all be at the dinner party - because they think Dorian deserves a second chance! With some persuasion from Mrs. Rivera, Markko's father agrees to go - but promises he'll leave if Viki, Charlie, Moe and Shaun aren't there!

Starr and Langston are preparing for Starr's wedding in the living room when Blair appears, wondering where Todd is. After Blair leaves, Langston worries that Starr won't need her after she's married, but Starr promises she will then she shares her worries about Cole being in Statesville.

Suddenly, Addie comes through the front door, lets Blair know that she knows what's been going on there then questions Blair's mood, which Blair blames on Todd! After a little pep talk from Addie about how people, like Cole and Starr, are meant to be, Starr and Langston appear and Addie hugs them close, saying that she planted a tree for Cole and Starr - because she knows they'll continue to grow together.

Shortly after, when Todd comes back to the mansion, Blair demands to know where he's been. Todd claims that he fell asleep at the office, working late, then Blair tries to make Todd see that Cole and Starr love each other and will make it work. However, Todd asks Blair if she's sure that love is all it takes. Later, Todd answers the door and invites Marty and Cole in.

With everyone now in the living room, and after Dorian assures Langston that everyone with be at their dinner party, Cole and Starr take each other's hands and say, "Let's get married," with Todd and Marty watching on nervously.
