A Plan For Cole's Future!

Monday, June 29 2009
John sets out to help Cole, Natalie and Jared badger Kyle, and Gigi hopes Rex believes her...

Still in Bo's office, John agrees to come back as Chief of Detectives on one condition then says, "Keep Cole out of prison." John explains how Asher set Cole up, how he even tipped the cop to bust Cole, leaving John to admit that he thinks the cop was working with Asher! Bo thinks about how the cop insists on staying 'a beat cop', leaving John to think the cop and Asher are involved in Llanview's drug trafficking together. Though Bo initially refuses to risk Cole's life by putting him undercover, he agrees to call the judge tonight, before Cole is transferred tomorrow, then hands John back his badge and asks, "So, where do we start?"

Bo calls the cop in, introduces John as Chief of Detectives then asks him to join their new task force to bust the drug trafficking ring. The cop eagerly agrees, leading John and Bo to think it's only because he knows Cole's headed off to Statesville.

Out in the station room, Natalie and Jared demand that Kyle give them the donor's name, even though he promised Roxy that he wouldn't! When refaced with the blackmailing charges, Kyle finally admits that he doesn't know the donor's name but gives Natalie and Jared instructions on how to locate him - in Room 302 at the Boutet Clinic.

Shortly after, Kyle takes Natalie and Jared to the clinic, where Jared gets a shocked look on his face after tearing open the curtain in Room 302!

As Stacy walks into Ultra Violet, at the same time Gigi asks if Rex believes her, Rex tells Gigi, "Whatever, we're done, Morasco, get the hell out." Rex says he's with Stacy now then demands that Gigi leave - and never come back!

After Gigi storms out, Stacy wants to know what Gigi said, but Rex blows it off and claims, "It doesn't matter, I'm with you now." When Rex admits that he didn't tell Gigi that they slept together, Stacy suggests that they tell her - so she'll stay away - but then drops it and asks, "You care? Is that all? Rex, do you think you could love me?" Stacy quickly apologizes for overstepping, says she's just happy that he chose her then agrees to meet Rex back at the loft.

At Rodi's, while Schuyler thinks back to Stacy's claim that he's falling for Gigi, Gigi arrives, fills him in on what happened then falls into his arms. Though Schuyler almost slips about Stacy and Rex sleeping together, he comforts Gigi as she goes over all of the events leading up to losing Rex - for real.

Over at Foxy Roxy's, Roxy is stunned when her hand that's holding the bag of blood is grabbed - it's the nurse from the Boutet Clinic, who takes the blood from Roxy's hand! The nurse then makes it clear that she knows Roxy pulled the plug on Rex's farther, but Roxy begs her to give back the blood - the only thing that will prevent Shane from dying, should he have a setback. "An eye, for eye," the nurse says. As the nurse goes to leave, Roxy eyes a curling iron, stuffs it in her back like a gun then warns the nurse that she wants the blood back! Roxy whips the woman around, aims her curling iron at her, but the woman calmly takes out a syringe and says she can quickly arrange for Roxy's death!

On the mansion patio, Starr urges Todd to sign the consent paper, as a way to prove he's changed. Though Todd objects, thinking Cole is trying to tie Starr down, Starr clarifies that Cole is making a commitment, reminding Todd that he said he would do anything to earn her love again then says, "This is the time to step up." Even though Todd demands that Starr do what he says, for once, she replies, "Like hell I will!" Starr threatens to runaway, causing Todd to snap - until Starr threatens to leave when she's eighteen, after Cole's released, and he'll never see her, or Hope, again! Cole steps up to Todd and makes his case for his new family, as Tea whispers to Blair, "You don't want this wedding any more than he does," but Todd finally signs the consent papers - reminding Cole that he better not make him sorry!

Once Starr and Cole go to check on Hope, Todd screams at Tea and Blair, "How could you two let this happen? It's all your fault!" Todd blames Blair for consenting first then Tea for ambushing him with the taped recording. "You guys are the most witchy, man eating…" Todd says. "If I'm the love of your life…" As Blair and Tea lash out at Todd, Cole and Starr interrupt, saying they're taking Hope out with them to eat, then they leave Blair, Tea and Todd to their bickering.

Later, at Rodi's, Cole is touched that Starr would really leave her family to be with him and Hope and even suggests they do it - now. However, Starr reminds him that they have to do everything right this time around. Suddenly, Schuyler appears, and Starr introduces him to their baby. When Starr informs him that she and Cole are getting married, tomorrow, Schuyler congratulates them both - and Cole even accepts his handshake!

Crying on the stairs at the carriage house, Gigi is shocked to see Rex at her door, and even more stunned when he pulls her into a passionate kiss!

It was pretty obvious that Rex was lying to Stacy. I stand by what I said earlier, that Rex and Gigi will get together and Stacy will claim that she is pregnant. Rex will leave Gigi and Gigi will get with Schuyller.

As for Cole, his daughter can have his name without them being married. Did y'all see the look on Blair's face when Tea said Blair's signature was really all they needed.

Starr needs to listen to Todd, she was acting like an immature child. She was talking about running away with Cole. I would like to see that being that Cole will be in jail. Just two months ago, Starr was inlove with her teacher.

Todd was also right to blame Tea and Blair for this entire mess. Blair never wants to make the tough decisions. Then Tea was trying to sneak out after causing this mess.

I bet the donor has been moved. That room is probably empty. Or someone else is in there.

Oh boy! These dopes kill me harboring that bag of blood. I mean, surely by this time the blood has no use as well as it not haveing been stored properly, etc. Rex feels sooooo guilty for sleeping with Stacy (he know's he f!@%$# up! In the real world, nothing like this would ever have happened! There is no way that my sister could blackmail me with a deal like that! In fact, you can have my man if it means saving my child! LOL!, just kidding...

Starr is a chip off the old block. She learned from the best, Todd, on how to get her way. Way to go Starr!

Todd set Blair up to take the fall and it is her fault Todd could not act like a real parent and put his foot down?

And as for Tea, she just paid Todd back, that is all.
Todd can't ever take responsibility for HIS ACTIONS!

The "donor" is alive and walked out of the clinic.

Ah, I knew that Asher set Cole up. Just didn't know the cop was in on it and is a dirty cop. Interesting.....

Here we go again. Todd was NOT right to blame Tea and Blair for the entire mess. As usual, Todd was trying to manipulate people and "game the system" in order to get what he wanted. Todd has no right to be mad at Tea for using a recording against him - to slightly change an old saying, what's good for the gander is good for the goose. Todd did the same thing to Tea and threatened her entire career, so he has no right to complain about being secretly taped and then having that tape played and damagind Todd's position. Todd just got a taste of his own medicine and he didn't like it one bit. In the real world, that might cause a person to do some soul searching and take stock of their life. But in Toddland, that's just more evidence of how the world is out to get him, poor, helpless victim Todd.

I get why Todd doesn't want Starr to get married now (or probably ever to Cole, but that point aside) and I actually probably agree with him that it's a bad idea. But, when Tea outed his little plan to Starr and Blair, instead of still standing up for what he believed, refusing to consent to the marriage and being this good father that the Todd fans all insist he is, he cracked like a bad stucco job and then proceeded to blame everyone but himself. I might have actually gained a little respect for Todd if he had stood his ground and refused to allow the marriage - provided it was because he was concerned about Starr's future and not because he just doesn't like Cole (although really, do you ever see Todd approving of anyone with Starr? I sure don't).

On to Gigi and Rocks for Brains, I used to like Gigi and Rex together, but I really can't stand the way he turned against her, regardless of what he thought she did. When he first found out, he claimed he didn't care and he asked her to marry him anyway. She refused, obviously, but he kept pushing and then all of a sudden, he turned on her. Rex should have known that something was up and he he sure as heck shouldn't have turned to Skanky under any circumstances. Now, I do hope that Gigi and Schuyller get together, even if he used to be with her sister. Since we only know about that from the past but didn't see it, I think that's why it doesn't bother me as much. Gigi deserves someone with more of a brain than Rex.

A few days ago in the recaps, I actually had to laugh when Gigi was explaining why she faked cheating on Rex to convince him it was over, 'Rex is a P.I.' or something like that. I kept thinking, yeah, sure he is...

I agreed. Why do they have that bag of blood just going from hand to hand. Why do they still need it. Is that nurse going to blackmail somebody with that? Possibly Roxy? Hope I am not preempting the upcoming spoiler but I do think there is something much deeper that Roxy not wanting Rex to find out who his father is rather than the reason she is saying, (because he's a bad man). My girlfriend and I have be thinking about this the whole time and we came to the conclusion that it is not only because Rex's dad is so bad because if it was the only reason, who cares? he saved her grand son. What we concluded was there is something about Roxy or someone that Roxy knows will be hugh. Finally, Amy could you tell me why we have to see an encore on Friday, July 3rd? The 4th is on Saturday anyway, we could see soapworld celebrating their July 4th on Friday as we alll are doing. An encore is not necessary because it is the week end climax. We do not want to wait till Monday. please.

I must say way to go Starr for using the Manning power of manipulation on Todd and also way to go Tea for doing unto Todd as Todd did unto Tea...So what happened to the donor I agree with Jumps the donor walked out because I remember in one episode the donor sat up I still say its Spencer Truman...Maybe we will find out soon

Posted by Armygirl2757 at Monday, June 29 2009 01:01 PM

As for Skanty and Rex well I really hope that Rex's believes GiGi and not Skanty after all he is a PI right

Posted by cowboys fan at Monday, June 29 2009 01:06 PM

If Tea had not come in with her tape recorder because she was so jealous of Todd and Blair all this mess would have been over. Blair had told Starr it was not a good idea to get married. Then she had to make my sweet Todd the bad guy again and ditch her motherly duties again and make Todd be the bad parent. You could tell Blair didn't want them to get married. Well Blair's plan backfired.
