Jared and Natalie become more desperate, Tess carries on with her plans, and Rex and Gigi are excited to move forward together...
Bo and Gigi bring Rex home to his loft, where he's happy to be alive - with the woman he loves. Though Rex worries about how Shane will feel, Gigi assures him they'll get through this together. Rex is surprised to find Roxy inside waiting for him, and after a good cry, and a couple of suffocating hugs, Roxy says, "I swore I wouldn't do this. I know it's your party, but I'll cry if I want to." When Rex hears that Natalie is still 'out of town', he immediately wants to get up and go look for her. However, Bo insists that he's doing his job and orders Rex to stay put. After Bo leaves, Rex anticipates Shane's arrival, but Roxy tries to distract Rex with a piñata! "Are you keeping something from me?" Rex asks, to which Gigi explains that they'll need to give Shane a little room to understand everything - and to accept it. Rex agrees, apologizes for snapping then takes a swing at Roxy's piñata, which is filled with all of the candy and things Rex liked at ten years old, things that will better help him understand Shane.
After Roxy leaves Gigi and Rex alone, Gigi tucks Rex in then tells him to rest. However, Rex pulls Gigi to him and holds her close.
At Todd's, Tess looks at the crowned jewels, thanks Tina out loud, hides them in one of Bree's sweaters then pulls out the dynamite and says, "I'll do to them what they did to my life."
In his living room, Todd plays with Bree and talks about becoming a grandfather - and about the wacko lady who's hiding Bree's mommy! When Tess appears asking for another favor, for Todd to get her and Bree passports, Todd wonders if she plans to leave Natalie and Jared dead somewhere! Tess ignores his question, makes sure Todd plans to do his part then says she has to tie a few things up before she leaves.
Down in the secret room at Llanfair, when Natalie worries that they'll never get out of there, Jared gets an idea - one to lure Viki to the basement! Going through the scrapbook Tess gave Natalie, Jared takes some of the pictures and manages to start a fire by holding them to a lamp! Jared quickly puts the lit pictures in the drawer where Tess passes them their food then waits for the smoke alarm to go off!
Upstairs, when Charlie arrives at Viki's to let her know he hasn't heard from Jared, she admits that she heard from someone who is responsible for Jess turning into Tess - Niki Smith! Viki explains that she dreamed of Niki, who blamed Viki for not noticing Tess's signs. Viki talks about the accident with Natalie's car then worries about Bree and Jessica's unborn child. Bo arrives to talk about Jessica, to which Viki admits that she thinks Tess is responsible for Natalie's brakes being cut, leaving Bo to share John's suspicions about Tess trying to cover for Todd! Viki wants to talk to Todd and follows Bo out, with Charlie by her side, never hearing the smoke alarm go off!
Back in the secret room, Natalie and Jared see the door sliding open and are excited to see that someone came to rescue them! However, it's Tess who says, "Did you think I forgot about you?"
Alone, and feeling guilty, Todd vows that he'll help Natalie once he's far enough away with his own family. Once Todd gets Bree to bed upstairs, he hears his doorbell and finds Viki on the other side - looking anything but happy to see him!
Over at Dorian's, Adriana explains that Rex is better now then chastises Dorian for not being there for her during her time of need. Though Adriana agrees that they weren't on the best of terms when she left for Paris, she cries, "But you're my mother. I needed you." Over talk of what happened, Dorian tells Adriana how strong she is but she's glad to have her home - where Dorian can now take care of her. However, Adriana explains that her car is waiting outside then says, "I'm going back to Paris." Adriana and Dorian talk about all of the sacrifices they've made, in order to find themselves again, then the mother and daughter come to a truce before they say their goodbyes. "I'm sorry that you lost Rex," Dorian says sincerely, to which Adriana hugs Dorian and says, "I love you."
When Adriana leaves, Dorian admits to Langston that she gave B.E. back to Clint.
Still in Nora's office, Clint is in shocked to have B.E. back and asks, "How did you get Dorian to agree to this?" Though Nora claims it would have taken a lot to pile a case against Dorian, Clint says, "You bluffed Dorian, didn't you?" Nora knows Clint realizes what he did was wrong and admits she now can see the man she fell in love with, to which Clint promises to never let her down again!
