At the loft, Talia tries to comfort Antonio, who is clearly worried about Cris - and about what Carlo could be doing to him! Though Antonio doesn't blame Talia, she blames herself. Suddenly, Sarah arrives and is upset to hear that they had to let Ray Montez go.

As Cris sleeps in Colombia, Vanessa strokes his hair and says, "It was just a dream." Once Cris wakes up, Vanessa informs him that the phone lines and airport are still down, but will be open soon. Worrying over Ray, Vanessa says they need to leave for Llanview now - a place where Ray will never find them! While Vanessa goes to get Lola ready, Cris picks up the phone, hears a dial tone, says, "Vanessa, you're a liar," then calls Sarah!

"Sarah, can you hear me?" Cris asks, to which Sarah replies, "Cris, is that you!" Though Sarah hears Cris say that he's in Colombia, the line goes dead before she can get further information. Antonio immediately has the call traced to a residential area near the prison then leaves for the airport!

When Vanessa walks in and sees Cris hanging up the phone, he rants at her for lying about the phones being dead and demands to know what else she's been keeping from him! Vanessa claims that when she tried the phone it was all static then asks Cris to trust her. However, Cris considers her 'a risk he's going to have to take' then the three leave for the airport.

After Ray arrives at the Buchanan mansion wanting to know if Clint made the deal with Dorian, he screams about being locked up - and calls Nora a 'red-headed witch'! Though Ray wants to be paid immediately, so he can return to Colombia, Clint informs him that Dorian didn't go for the deal - and that Ray will now have to take Langston back to Colombia with him! Just as Clint explains that Dorian will never allow Langston to get on a plane to Colombia - and that she'll hand over B.E. - Nora appears!

Once Ray excuses himself, Nora lashes out at Clint for associating with a known criminal - in her house - then claims if this is how he wants to run his life, she doesn't know if she even wants Clint in her house! Nora accuses Clint of paying to have Ray released from the Colombian prison, to which Clint claims Nora is just jealous that she found Dallas on their couch! Both finally agree that they hate fighting with each other, but Nora still can't get over Clint's scheme - and the fact that Langston is going to get caught in the middle. "I can't do this anymore, Clint. Why are we even pretending to still be together?"

Markko arrives at Dorian's to see if he can help to keep Langston in Llanview. Although Dorian claims she has everything under control, Markko insists on helping - should Dorian's plans go astray. Dorian and Markko bond over Langston and assure Langston, when she joins them, that she is not going anywhere! "My people are working on this. We are Cramers," Dorian says. "And we're going to fight till the bitter end."

Suddenly, Ray appears at Dorian's door and informs that he and Langston will be leaving for Colombia tonight! Though Langston tries to plead with Ray, he leaves them to say their goodbyes - and Dorian promptly calls Jackie, in private, and gives him the go-ahead, tonight!

From the carriage house, though Gigi tries to get information on Rex, the hospital won't allow it. Just then, Shane comes downstairs and says, "I want to see dad." Gigi immediately is excited that Shane is ready to accept Rex, but Shane informs her that he was talking about Brody! Gigi explains that Brody still believes that he's in the war and that he's now in a psychiatric hospital getting the help he needs. Shane then apologizes for the way he treated her and Rex then admits, "I wish I would've gone in and seen him when I had the chance." Suddenly, Gigi says, "My God, that's it! I don't have any rights to see him, but you do - you're family!"

Inside Rex's room, Adriana talks to Rex about how much she loves him.

When she sees Roxy and Bo outside of the room, she goes to them and informs that there's still no change with Rex. Bo questions if Rex had a living will, but Adriana doesn't want to think about that. Roxy wishes that Rex had put her in charge because if he had, she would have made sure that Gigi was by his side right now! Wanting what's best for Rex, Bo asks Adriana if she thinks Rex would want to stay alive forever, with machines hooked up to him, or if he'd want to be let go… Adriana is distraught over the thought and screams, "I'm his family! Not Gigi, not Shane, me!" Adriana refuses to let Rex go, but Bo reminds her that Rex asked for a divorce, in order to be with Gigi and raise Shane, leading Roxy to insist that Adriana allow Gigi in to see her son! When Adriana refuses, Roxy leaves to get a lawyer! Bo then informs Adriana that if he has to he will pull some strings to allow Gigi to see Rex. "If there's the slightest chance that hearing Gigi's voice will bring him out of this," Bo warns. "I'm going to make it happen." Once Bo leaves, Adriana goes back to Rex's bedside and breaks down in tears.

Later, on Adriana's way out, she runs into Gigi, who nicely states that Adriana can't keep Shane from seeing his father, to which Adriana replies, "Too late, he's gone."
