Jared continues to look for Natalie, Tina makes a decision regarding Tess, and Rex's condition worsens...
Still at Rodi's, Leo asks Jared not to tell Jessica that he told him about the secret room then he tries to leave. However, Jared stops him and demands to know what kind of room he built for her, to which Leo replies, "I built her a sound-proof room in the basement, and who knows what that head-case is using it for." Jared grabs Leo by his shirt and warns that he better not be holding anything back then storms off!
When Tess arrives home to find Tina holding a sledgehammer, screaming to Natalie that she's on her way, Tess lunges at Tina and the women struggle - as Natalie watches through the video screen from the secret room! Once Tess gets the hammer away from Tina, she screams that Tina will never be going down there again then says, "Lady, if you mess with me, it's going to suck to be you!" Following Tess into the living room, who is going after Tina's jewels, Tina warns that she'll tell everyone that 'The Tess is out of the bag' - and that Natalie is in the basement! Outside Llanfair, Jared leaves Bo a message then storms inside…
From the basement, Natalie screams for Tina to forget about the jewels - and to get her out of there! Just then, Natalie sees Jared arrive, who starts screaming at Tina for giving Jessica a hard time - and announces that he's given up on Natalie! Jared suggests they all share a meal, to get through their issues, and asks 'Jessica' to prepare them a snack while he gets their drinks. Once Tess is gone, Natalie is relieved to watch and hear Jared whisper to Tina that he needs her help… He thinks Jess is Tess! As Jared explains about the secret room that Leo built, Tina says, "I know!" Tina claims she just figured it out, that Jess is Tess, but plays dumb about the secret room - one Jared thinks Tess has Natalie locked up in!
In the kitchen, Tess takes out a little vile and begins drugging Jared and Tina's food! Tess then brings in the 'chips and dip' and drills Tina for information when Jared runs off to take a shower. Though Tina tells Tess she won't tell Jared about Natalie, she warns that he's a smart guy, who may figure it out! Tina storms off…
Tina finds Jared in the kitchen trying to kick down the basement door. After she stops him, picks the lock, and instructs Jared that the secret room is behind the wall, she grabs a knife and vows to stop Tess from following Jared downstairs! Tina says a final plea to God, begging him to help her - to help Natalie and Jared! Just as Tina claims the crowned jewels don't really matter to her anymore, someone appears and says, "Well, they matter to me!" It's Cain!
In the living room, Tess hears a noise, turns and says, "What are you doing here?"
Once downstairs, Jared moves the wall and sees Natalie in the secret room!
At the hospital, when the doctor tells Adriana that Rex isn't waking up - because he's lost his will to live - Roxy blames Adriana for keeping Gigi, his real will to live, away! Though Adriana demands that Roxy take her statement back, the doctor explains, "If we could get Rex to breathe on his own that would be really good. His stats are good." Everyone worries that Rex could stop breathing, once the tube is removed, but Adriana, being the next of kin, agrees to sign off on it - even though Roxy wants to call Bo and Gigi beforehand! Roxy again brings up Adriana's jealousy then warns that Rex better be fine - or it's on her!
In Bo's office, although Bo feels for Gigi, he warns that Adriana is determined to keep her away from Rex. Gigi cries, and worries that Shane will never get to know Rex as his father then rants about how vicious Adriana is being - out of spite! Over talk of Brody, Bo informs Gigi that he's being transferred to a VA psychiatric hospital, in order to determine if he's sane enough to stand trial. Suddenly, Bo gets a call from Roxy saying they're removing the tube from Rex - and that he should be there. Though Bo wants to bring Gigi with, Roxy warns that Adriana said she'd have her removed! Once Bo hangs up, he relays everything to Gigi, who is devastated that she can't be there. Bo promises to keep her posted - and to tell Rex that she loves him.
Alone, when Gigi goes to get some water, Brody is brought into the station - and Gigi stops cold and gasps. "Why did you do it, Brody, why did you shoot Rex?" Brody screams that he's sorry, that he was only trying to protect him and that he was following orders! After Brody is taken away, a military rep explains that Brody is sedated - and Gigi amazingly says, "Please take care of him."
Bo arrives at the hospital just in time for the doctor to remove the tube. Adriana insists on being in there with Rex, leaving Roxy, Bo and Layla outside Rex's room. Looking into Rex's room, Roxy worries to Bo that Rex won't be able to breathe on his own.
Inside the room, when the doctor removes Rex's tube, he stops breathing! Adriana comes out of the room crying, to which Roxy screams, "You better quit being a jealous selfish witch and let him see the woman he loves!" Roxy then grabs Adriana and forces her to look at Rex, who is back on a ventilator, then says, "Take a look at him - because that's what you've done to him!" After Bo takes Roxy away, Adriana wonders to Layla if she's doing the right thing, but worries if she lets Gigi in to see Rex that he could get even worse! Adriana wonders if Rex and her would still be happy - if he hadn't run into Gigi in Texas - but then admits, "Maybe me and Rex were never meant to be together." Suddenly, the doctor comes out of Rex's room, let's them all know that he's back on the ventilator, but that it will slow down his recovery. When Roxy and Bo ask if Rex will be unconscious for the rest of his life, the doctor replies, "I'm not going to lie to you. If Rex doesn't regain consciousness, there is a chance he will remain this way. And even if he does, Rex may never be the same."
Still at the station, Gigi goes back into Bo's office, looks at a photo of Bo and Rex then remembers the last time she and Rex were together, talking about the life they were going to have - with their son. Just then, Bo calls and tells Gigi everything the doctor told them, leaving Gigi crying, "Oh, no!"
