When Gigi drops a tray of glasses at Rodi's, her boss helps her clean up the mess then demands that she leave to be with Shane and Rex. After Gigi refuses, she's forced to at least take a break.

Out in the alley, Gigi frantically tries to lit a cigarette and asks Charlie for a match when he walks by. Gigi throws the cigarette away, blames the craving for an old habit on stress, then cries about not being able to see Rex. With Gigi in tears, Charlie tries to comfort her and says, "Take care of yourself and Shane, and when Rex wakes up he'll ask for you." Gigi breaks down in Charlie's arms and blames herself for Rex's condition.

Jared sits with Tess at Rodi's and insists that he's through with Natalie! When Tess begins to blame herself for Natalie leaving, Jared replies, "Now we are going to have to find a way to live without her." Over a game of pool, Tess reminds Jared that he deserves better than what Natalie has given him. Tess insists she's needed at home but makes plans to meet Jared for dinner later.

Once she's gone, Jared goes to the bar - and is warned by Leo the contractor about the freaky blond who was hitting on him! With Jared's interest peaked, he claims to be hooking up with Jessica later that night, buys Leo a beer then asks for some tips on what he could be in for! "Your girl-toy," Leo says. "I built this room for her." Leo then informs Jared that the room is in the basement!

At Llanfair, when Tina appears outside of the secret room, Natalie is filled with relief and says, "I knew you wouldn't leave me down here!" Though Natalie begs her to call Jared or Bo, Tina says, "I'm sorry. I can't do that. You're going to have to stay put." Natalie rants about the crowned jewels being more important than her then tries to warn Tina about how dangerous Tess is to her - and everyone they love! "So tell me, what's more important to you… Your family or your stupid bling?" Tina starts talking about Tess's threats and claims she just came downstairs to see if Natalie was okay - or if she needed something to eat. When Natalie asks Tina if she can live with herself if someone gets hurt at the hands of Tess, Tina finally agrees to let Natalie out - but she can't work the digital lock! Tina promises Natalie that she's going to call Bo, after she gets the jewels out of the safe, then heads back upstairs.

Later, Tess arrives home to find Tina running into the kitchen, with a sledgehammer, screaming, "I'm coming, Natalie, we're going to tear that wall down!"

Still seated on the blanket, when Todd suggests that he and Marty get married, Marty laughs. "Married, you and me? I thought we were having a serious conversation." Marty rants that she's not ready for just 'an arrangement' and says that marriage takes place when two people are in love! Not wanting to argue the point, Todd says, "For crying out loud… Marty, will you marry me?" When Marty wonders if Todd just wants to get back at Blair, Todd says, "Marty you're the last people that I thought I'd want to be with, but I do - and I don't want to lose you." Though Marty doesn’t want to lose Todd either, she says, "But I can't marry you." When Marty asks Todd to just trust her, Todd talks about how different he feels for her, compared to Blair, leaving Marty to admit that she's falling in love with him - and Todd says he feels the same way! Todd and Marty kiss…

After making love, still in John's bed, Blair and John makes plans to go out to dinner. Though John admits he's waiting on a tip for a case he's working on, he says, "Until then, I'm all yours." Shortly after, John gets a call from someone, about Todd's housekeeper Janet, and apologizes to Blair for having to cancel their plans. Blair assures him it's fine and says, "John, it's work… It's not like it's another woman."

Outside of Rex's hospital room, Marcie tries to reason with Adriana in regards to Gigi - and Layla even agrees with Marcie! However, Adriana can't forget how in love she and Rex were and claims it was all of Gigi's doing for taking him away. Blaming Gigi for the shooting, Adriana dismisses Marcie and Layla by saying, "I can't deal with this right now." Later, Marcie calls to inform Gigi that she couldn't change Adriana's mind but promises to try again soon.

Inside Rex's room, Roxy assures Rex that he's going to be okay - even with all the nastiness that his wife is spewing around! As Roxy talks about how much Adriana has changed, Adriana appears and blames being 'walked all over' for her changes! After Adriana demands that Roxy voice her opinions to her face, Roxy snaps, "You have no right to keep Gigi from him!" Adriana reminds Roxy that she's only been a mom to Rex when she felt like it then threatens to throw her out! Suddenly, the doctor appears and asks that Rex have only one visitor at a time, to which Adriana insists it be her! When Roxy and Adriana begin arguing, Layla breaks it up then they all listen as the doctor warns, "Rex needs to wake up and breathe on his own, but something's holding him back."
