Todd shocks Marty, Jared wonders if Tess is back, and John doesn't tell Blair that he thinks Marty is Todd's mystery woman...
Still seated on a blanket, somewhere in the countryside, when Marty questions why Todd still wears his wedding ring, if he wants to move on with her, Todd claims that he can't take it off - because it's stuck! After Marty suggests that Todd just isn't ready to move on, Todd states, "It's over, Marty, and I'm really ready to move on with you - and my grandkid." After Marty reaches over and pulls off Todd's wedding ring, Todd throws it into the woods - then suggests he and Marty get married!
When Blair appears at John's door, he invites her in and they briefly play catch up until Blair finally says, "I missed those blue eyes." Though John claims he missed Blair too, Blair talks about the freedoms of their relationship but admits she'd like to know where they're going with this, to which John shares her feelings and admits that he's feeling there's more between them too! John and Blair make love!
Tess visits Natalie in the secret room and says, "I'm so sorry, Natalie, Rex is dead." Tess claims the funeral is on Friday then tortures Natalie by saying that Rex asked for her right before he died! With Natalie in hysterics, Tess smacks the glass and laughs. "Gotcha!" Natalie is relieved, but furious, and warns Tess that someday soon someone is going to realize that Natalie would never stay away from Rex at a time like this! With talk of Jared, Natalie smiles and asks, "He's on to you, isn't he?" Tess blows off her accusations, gives Natalie a letter, for her to write to Jessica, then demands that she copy it - or else she'll be saying goodbye to Jared forever! When Natalie tries to pull the wool over Tess, by addressing the letter to Tessica, Tess forces her to fix it!
Tina goes to Foxy Roxy's for an appointment and finds Roxy crying over Rex. Suddenly, Roxy starts looking for a lucky rabbit's foot, one only Natalie knows where to locate, then rants about how cruel it is that Natalie hasn't come home to see Rex! Tina mumbles uncomfortably, making excuses for Natalie's absence, then says, "If I could tell you where Natalie was, I would tell you. You know that, don't you?" Roxy glares at her and says, "I don't think so." Though Tina doesn't say anything about the secret room, she does tell Roxy that Natalie is closer than she thinks - underfoot, in fact - leaving Roxy thanking Tina and rushing out of the salon!
Though Gigi shows up late for work, she tells her boss at Rodi's, "Go ahead, fire me." After Gigi explains what happened with Brody, and Rex, her boss tells her to go be with Rex - but Gigi is only reminded that Adriana has banned her from his room! Marcie arrives to inform Gigi that Shane got off to school fine then promises Gigi that she's going to talk to Adriana about letting her see Rex!
Over at the station, Brody is brought up to Bo's office, to which Bo says, "Lieutenant, you're facing murder charges." Just as Bo explains that Shane is fine, but that Rex is in critical condition, Jared appears and Bo leaves from a moment to talk to him about Natalie's disappearance - and agrees that it's not like Natalie to stay away this long. When Jared brings up Jessica's behavior - and even suggests that Tess is back - Bo thinks back to his conversation with John, in regards to John's concerns over Jessica, then wonders if it could be true.
Across the room, as Brody's mind flashes back to the war, he eyes a gun in a cop's holster! As the cop is preoccupied with a phone call, Brody attacks him - but the cop screams for Bo, who rushes over and pulls Brody off of him! Bo sympathizes with Brody's condition and tries to tell him that everything is going to be okay.
Jared gets a text message from Jessica and meets her at Rodi's, where Tess shows him a letter from Natalie, claiming Natalie wants to come home - but can't bear to run into Jared! As Tess continues trying to convince him, Jared remembers hearing her exact words before - when he first met her, when she was Tess! Jared claims that Tess was right and says, "Natalie's a heartless witch. It's over, I'm done with her. Natalie can go to hell."
Back at Llanfair, Natalie is relieved to see Tina appear outside of the secret room!
After Adriana appears from Rex's hospital room, Layla holds her friend close. Adriana cries and tells Layla how it appeared that Rex was looking for Gigi when he woke up then asks, "Do you think I'm wrong to keep her away? What if he needs to hear her voice? He sure doesn't want to hear mine. If he dies, it's my fault." Adriana talks about Rex wanting a divorce, but Layla says all that matters is if Adriana still loves Rex!
Just then, Marcie arrives and hugs Adriana, telling her how sorry she is. While Layla leaves to get them some coffee, Adriana blames herself, and her jealousy, for driving Rex back into Gigi's arms. Roxy briefly appears and rants at Adriana for being alone then rushes into Rex's room, leaving Adriana to admit to Marcie, "I don't want to be the bad guy." Marcie reminds Adriana that Rex and Gigi are very much in love, and share a son, then asks, "Do you love him enough to give him back to his family?"
