John confides in Michael, Todd and Marty start planning out their future, Dorian tries to hire Jackie McNaughton, and Clint and Nora argue about Ray...
In his office, John reads over Marty's case file then thinks back to the last time he saw her alive - after the van went over the cliff.
Later, John finds Michael in the morgue at the hospital and brings up the mystery woman - and her x-rays. Though Michael is irritated that John is still spending so much time on a dead woman, John informs him that she may be alive! John talks about the woman's x-rays, and about the explosion of the van Marty was supposedly in, then is encourage when Michael states that if a woman was trapped in a burning vehicle there wouldn't be any x-rays to look at! When John keeps pushing Michael with more questions, Michael demands to know how John thinks he knows so many details about this woman, to which John snaps, "Because I was there! I think Marty may still be alive!" Michael thinks the whole scenario is too farfetched, but John can't let all of the coincidences go! Before John leaves, Michael warns, "Just don't set yourself up for disappointment."
Somewhere in the countryside, Todd leads Marty to a clearing and the two set up a picnic then start to discuss their future. Todd takes out an atlas and tells Marty to pick a place to move to, while he prepares a special lunch. When Todd talks about moving forward together, Marty questions why he's still wearing his wedding ring, leaving Todd staring down at his connection to Blair.
Clint talks to Dallas at the Buchanan mansion and boasts about how his plan is working - and how he will soon have B.E. back!
Still at the school, though Ray claims he doesn't know a 'Cristian Vega', he's forced to go to the station for questioning with Antonio, Talia and Nora - but warns Langston that they are still going to Colombia! Left with a lot of unanswered questions, Langston still worries about being swept away from Llanview, but Starr and Markko assure her that Dorian will not allow it!
At the station, Ray is shown a photo of Cristian, who he claims he's never seen, then is allowed one phone call, to which Ray calls Clint, who tells Ray to sit tight - and to not say anything! After Ray says, "This lady DA is really tough," Clint screams through the phone, "Nora called you in?" After Clint demands that Ray put Nora on the phone, Nora orders Clint to watch his tone with her, warns that if he has a problem with her job he shouldn't be living with the DA then hangs up! Facing Ray, Nora talks about how Cris was last seen wearing his prison garb - and Antonio wonders why he was on a flight to Llanview with Jared Banks! Ray doesn't admit to knowing Jared but says he came to Llanview to conduct business with Clint Buchanan, to which Antonio calls Nora out in private - for knowing about Ray's connection to Clint, and choosing to say nothing!
When Dorian arrives home, she catches Blair up to speed in regards to Langston but assures her, "I've got a plan!" Suddenly, Jackie shows up, leaving Blair to wonder if Dorian's plan involves a known criminal! After Dorian assures Blair that Jackie has changed, she pulls him into the living room for a private meeting and says, "I want Ray Montez removed from Langston's life permanently!" Again, Jackie warns Dorian of the finality of her demands, but she still wants Ray to be gone for good! Dorian hands him an envelope of money and says, "Just do it!" to which Jackie replies, "Just as long as you realize, now that I've pocketed this, there's no going back."
After Jackie leaves, Dorian calls Clint, tells him she's turning down his deal - and keeping her company - and says that if Ray wants Langston, "He can come and get her!"
Back out in the foyer, Addie joins Blair and says how happy she is that Blair is happy - then shocks Blair by saying, "It's probably because of that handsome man you're sleeping with!" Though Blair claims she and John are just friends, Addie prompts her to listen to her heart. Blair finally admits that her feelings for John go beyond friendship, to which Addie pushes her to go after what she wants!
John arrives back at his apartment and makes a call to someone about a man connected to Todd, while looking at a photo of him and Marty. Once he hangs up, Blair arrives, leaving John feeling pulled in the opposite direction from where his mind now holds him!
Although they try to head back home to Llanview, Cris, Vanessa and Lola find themselves stranded at the house in Colombia, with no choice but to wait out the raging storm outside. Changing into dry clothes, Vanessa talks more about Ray, leading Cris to talk about his family in Llanview, and Sarah, but assures Vanessa that he will be there for her and Lola when they arrive back in the states.
