Freeze! That's An Order, Lieutenant!

Friday, September 26 2008
Rex, Gigi and Bo find out something shocking about Brody, Langston's friends show their support, and Cole spies Clint with Ray...

Still in Bo's office, on speakerphone with Wes, Bo, Gigi and Rex are shocked to hear that Brody killed a boy during the war! Wes talks about the hell they endured during the war and how he and Brody were on edge constantly. "The kid couldn't have been more than ten," Wes says. With Gigi crying hysterically, and Rex demanding to know how Brody could kill a boy, Bo sympathizes with what Wes and Brody went through then listens on… "We were ready to die, but all we had to do is get through seven more days… Day one, two three, four five, then night fell on the fifth day… Brody was never the same." Just then, a cop appears and announces, "We think we found Lovett." Bo quickly thanks Wes then agrees to allow Rex and Gigi to follow them to Llantano Mountain!

Following the cops to Llantano Mountain, Gigi rants about this being her fault, and how she should have protected Shane, leaving Rex to remind her that Brody's sudden craziness is not her fault - and that Shane's going to be fine!

Up on Llantano Mountain, Brody says, "I'll let you shoot, but first, see that target over there? Go stand in front of it." Suddenly, Brody flashes back to the war, and when Shane calls out, "Dad, what's wrong," Brody sees the little boy who he shot! When Brody comes to his senses, Shane begs to shoot the gun, to which Brody warns Shane of the dangers of guns then hands it to him. Brody slowly instructs Shane how to fire the gun then again flashes back to the war, seeing the little boy he shot, holding the gun - instead of Shane! Brody's mind races until he grabs Shane, holds him close, and promises, "I'd never hurt you, Shane."

Suddenly, from the brushes there are screams, "Freeze!" Bo, Rex, Gigi and a swarm of cops demand for Brody to let Shane go - and to drop the gun! Shane defends Brody and yells at Gigi that he will not let her make Rex be his father! Brody cries, "I would never hurt him," but Bo screams, "Put your gun on the ground! That's an order, Lieutenant!" Once Brody lets Shane go, Shane runs to Gigi but cries that he doesn't want to leave his dad! As Bo talks Brody through arriving home from the war, Brody starts flashing back to Iraq and begins screaming, "He was just a boy… I never wanted to hurt him…I was only following orders!" With his mind in a tailspin, Brody holds out the gun, starts spinning around, thinking he's in the war, then fires!

At his house, Todd finds some old photos and stares at one of Marty and John. Just as Todd tears the photo in half, shredding John's side to pieces, Janet appears and the two talk about preparing for Todd's grandchild. Bonding over photos of Starr, Janet admits that she's estranged from her daughter then tells Todd how lucky he is to be close to Starr. When Janet sees a photo of Viki, she's stunned to hear that she's Todd's sister, but acts as though she knows her - even though she denies it! After Janet leaves, Todd stares at pictures of Marty, Starr, Viki - and Jessica!

Over at the mansion, Clint becomes frustration when he can't get a hold of Ray. When Dallas arrives, and questions what Nora will think of her living there, Clint assures her that he'll handle Nora. Just then, Nigel appears and reports that Nora had to go to Chicago for the night and is stunned, but agrees, to help Dallas settle in. Once alone, Clint calls Ray and hears about the custody hearing - and Dorian's arrest! Clint suggests that Ray let Langston stay at Dorian's for the night.

Hanging back at the courthouse, Blair promises that, for tonight, Langston will be staying with them but warns that they need to remain calm. Just as the kids promise to allow Blair and Dorian to handle everything, Ray appears and Langston asks, "Why are you doing this to me?" Though Ray talks of family, and how their home is in Colombia, Blair stands tall to Ray and demands that he think of Langston - and leave her there with them! Suddenly, Starr blurts out, "Where did you find us?" Ray claims his love for his sister - and her daughter - is the reason for all of 'this' then listens as Langston begs, "Please, let me stay." Though Ray allows Langston to stay at Dorian's for the night, he warns for Langston to pack and be prepared to say her goodbyes. After Blair leaves to check on Dorian, Cole drives Starr, Langston and Markko home.

Upstairs at the station, Blair leans in front of a distracted cop and asks, "Who's a girl gotta sleep with to get her aunt out of jail?" Knowing she now has the cop's attention, Blair demands that Dorian be released but is reminded that John is the only one who can help - and he's out of the country on a case!

Back at home, Langston blames her curiosity of her family tree as the reason this has happened then heads into the living room with Markko. Starr confides to Cole that she's scared, because Langston won't be there when the baby's born, to which Cole promises he will be - as her friend. They promise to always be friends then Cole leaves…

In the living room, after Markko promises Langston that he won't let them take her away, Langston falls helplessly into his arms.

When Ray arrives at the Buchanan mansion, Clint shakes his hand and says, "Ray, a job well done," but neither realizes that Cole is watching!

Though John tries to get some answers from the guard at the Colombian prison, the man insists that Cris was Ray Montez! Frustrated, and wanting to know where Cris is, John begins to manhandle the guard - until the warden appears and demands that he stop! With John now at gunpoint, the warden threatens to throw him in a cell. John then agrees to leave but says, "This isn't over."

I normally read, and not comment but, I couldn't stay silent today.First of all Brody , what the heck hes ten years old , ten! You don't give a ten year old a gun, and you definitely don't show him how to use! I'm tired of Brody I hope they lock him up in a mental institution and Shane, I want to slap some sense into that child he is such a brat, he needs a good wooping, kids these days have no respect for authority or adults, I'm only 20, but I was raised to not act like that . As for everything else that went on today,*yawn*, they need to get over with those other story lines, todd's sick and delusional, Starrs annoying, so's Cole and I guess Langstons ok.Clint, was there really no other way to get back at Dorian? He really is becoming Asa, JMHO.

I am sick of these storylines as well.I was hoping Brody was going to do us all a favor and turn the gun on himself!!!!!

I feel sorry for Brody. He's not crazy just suffering from PTSD like so many of our guys who have to fight wars to save countries who don't want us there in the first place. IF Gigi didn't lie all these yrs it wouldn't be happening. She's had 10 yrs to tell Shane the truth. She has pretty much single handedly promised Brody this great life when he got back, made it seem like it might happen (when she thought REx was taken)then ripped it away once Rex was available to sleep with .

I feel sorry for Brody too. But I don't blame Gigi at all for his problems. He has had them all along. He needs help.

Wow, another Tessica free day? Excellent!

dcarter - The "life" that Gigi supposedly "promised" Brody when he got back from the war? Not exactly a promise. He OFFERED to take care of her and her as-yet-unborn baby. She told him they could discuss it when he came back from the war.

That was more than ten years ago. Gigi was told (shortly after he left) that Brody had been killed in combat. She went on to make a life for herself and Shane.

She didn't throw Brody over for Rex - she never loved Brody. Was she wrong for lying to Shane all this time? YESSSSSSSS! So VERY WRONG. Was she wrong to allow the lie to continue when Brody showed up again? YESSSSS. So VERY WRONG. But she wasn't the only one, was she? Brody played into the lie, in fact he picked it up and RAN with it! He could have come to Gigi ALONE and discussed the situation with her - found out whether she even WANTED to keep the lie up. He didn't.

And yes, it is tragic that Brody is suffering PTSD. Here's hoping they don't completely trash his character the way Guza does to service vets over on GH. I hope Carlivati finds a way to bring Brody back from the edge and redeem him. BUT... he needs to stay away from Gigi and Shane.

I feel bad for Brody too. I wish they didn't take his character in the direction they did. I really would have preferred that he saw how much Rex and Gigi loved each other and left to find his own life, but remained in Shane's life a bit too. While Gigi's lies started this whole mess, Brody never had to play a part in it and now he gets to pay big time.

Other than that, the storylines are only worth the fastforward button lately.

I have never posted a comment on this message board before, but I have not watched the show but from what I have read it sounds boring. They need to move these s/l along. Enough already with Brody/Gigi/Rex. I also can't believe Clint is being such a mean guy, I understand be wants to get BE back but using an innocent child like Langston is just unacceptable.

I meant I have not watched todays episode. My bad.
