Brody makes Rex look bad in front of Shane, and Tess takes her revenge against Natalie one step further...
Rex and Gigi arrive back in Llanview, as well as Antonio, Talia and Sarah. Antonio, Talia and Sarah briefly talk about Cris's later flight then leave… Seeing Gigi is upset, Rex holds her close and tells her he'll be right there with her when she tells Shane the truth. Gigi brings up Brody, and reminds Rex that they have to handle Shane very carefully for fear of hurting him. "He loves Brody," Gigi says. Again, Rex holds her close, and goes to kiss her, but Shane and Brody appear and welcome Gigi home! Shane immediately wants to give Gigi 'some good news', but Brody stops him and says, "Let's wait till we go home." After Gigi sends Shane to get some snacks, Gigi informs Brody that Rex will be going home with them too!
Rex, Gigi, Brody and Shane arrive at the carriage house, and Brody informs Shane that he and his mom need to have a talk with Rex. Suddenly, Shane thinks Rex is there to split up his parents - and announces that he and Brody took a DNA test! "No one can split us up," Shane says. "No matter what!" Gigi is shocked, and Rex is furious! After Gigi asks Shane to go get her luggage from the car, she lays into Brody for faking a DNA test - and Brody suggests that the only reason Rex is with her is because he's Shane's father! Brody tries to explain that he did it incase Gigi never returned, for fear of Shane being thrown in foster care! Brody looks at Rex and says, "You walked out on her when she was pregnant! You don't deserve to be Shane's father!" As Brody instructs Rex to leave the house, and warns Gigi that Shane will never forgive her for lying to him, Rex steps up and says, "Shane is my son, Gigi is with me, so you can get the hell out!" However, Brody keeps taunting Rex, and Rex finally slugs him - just as Shane walks in and screams, "You hit my dad!" and Rex snaps back, "He's not your dad!"
At Capricorn, when Marcie walks in to find Michael and Layla on the dance floor, she's clearly upset! Blair leaves John's side and rushes to make Marcie feel better. However, when Michael and Marcie make eye contact, Marcie snaps at Michael by saying, "You hate dancing, you never dance!" Blair quickly pulls Marcie to the bar for a drink, and Layla leaves as well. Michael looks at John and says, "Shut up…"
Across the room, Clint is having a drink with Dallas and ranting about Nora - and Dallas licks Clint's wounds by bashing Nora for not being more understanding of him! Over talk of Jared, Clint admits how he hopes this new project he gave him will break Jared and Natalie up for good! Dallas further sympathizes with him then goes the extra mile and asks Clint for another chance!
While Blair tries to cheer up Marcie, John warns Michael to slow down with the shots! When Michael goes to Marcie they continue to argue about Starr's baby and their broken marriage, as Blair and John look on - thankful that 'their relationship' isn't complicated. "That's the way I like it," John agrees.
When Talia, Antonio and Sarah arrive home to their apartment, Sarah remembers being abducted, leading Talia to blame herself. However, Antonio and Sarah make it clear that she's not responsible - and she needs to accept who her father is. Talia is so grateful that they risked everything to save her.
When Layla arrives home, she and Sarah go off to catch up - and Talia and Antonio retreat to the bedroom, to where Talia tells Antonio, "I'm sorry you had to come after me… If something had gone wrong, Jamie wouldn't have a daddy." Antonio holds her closes and replies, "Now she has us both." The couple professes their love for each other then make love.
Natalie finds Tess in the safe at Llanfair, grabs the velvet bag from her hand and sees the crowned jewels! Shocked to see the jewels she's read about for weeks, Natalie asks where Tess got them - and Tess suggests they ask Tina! When Natalie reminds Tess that the jewels are stolen, and goes to call the police, Tess stops her! "We can't call the police on Mom's sister," Tess says, and Natalie quickly starts to leave to find Tina. After Tess acts as though she's dizzy, Natalie instructs her to put the jewels back in the safe then goes to get Tess some tea. Once Tess is alone, she locks the jewels safely away, pulls something from her pocket and says, "Nighty night, Natty."
Natalie returns with a tray of tea, and when she gets a call from Jared, Tess quickly adds 'something' to Natalie's tea! After Natalie hangs up, Tess hands Natalie her tea and eyes the cup with a smile when Natalie takes a sip! Over talk of Jared, Natalie gets emotional and thanks Tess for forgiving her then says, "I'm just glad we're sisters again, friends…" Tess brushes it off and replies, "It's okay, just drink your tea…" Suddenly, the drugs in the tea start to take effect, causing Natalie to become very tired. Natalie falls back on the couch and whispers, "I didn't want to choose between you and Jared… Jess…" Natalie is finally out cold! With Natalie lying flat on the couch, Sarah abruptly arrives through the back door and says, "Hi Jess, is my mom around?"
Sitting in bed, although Marty tells Todd that she'll be happy to help him care for his grandchild, she worries that she won't be much help in the shape she's in. Todd suggests Marty try to stand - and helps her do it!
However, when Marty goes to take a step on her own, she succeeds for a few steps but then falls into Todd's arms! "I was hoping we'd find ourselves here," Marty admits - and Todd leans down and takes her in a kiss!
In John's office, the enhancing program reveals more of the mystery woman's face!
