Detour To Llanview... Thursday, September 04 2008

Cris finds himself in trouble, Natalie confronts her father about Jared, and Tess demands that Todd help her deal with Tina...

At the airport, waiting for their flight back to Llanview, Rex and Gigi can't wait to get home to Shane. On the other side of the airport Sarah, Cris, Antonio and Talia wait as well. Just then, Sarah says, "Oh, my, God, is that Rex Balsom?" After Antonio and Cris see Rex and Gigi kissing, they confront Rex and remind him that he's married to Adriana! While Gigi is off calling Shane, Rex explains his situation - but they still threaten to call Adriana! Rex finally convinces them that he wants to be the one to tell Adriana about Gigi, but Cris and Antonio give him a final warning: To take care of the situation soon!

With everyone dispersed back to their corners of the airport, Gigi and Rex talk about Adriana, Cris and Antonio fill Talia in on the fire at the diner, and Sarah spots another Llanview resident - Jared Banks looking over the packet that Clint gave him while waiting for his flight to Columbia! Though Jared won't divulge any details of his project to get B.E. back, Sarah wishes him luck then heads back over to Cris - who says, "I'm not getting on that flight with you guys." Cris tells them that the flight has been switched to a smaller plane, and that there's not enough room for him, but promises to meet Sarah at home soon. After a kiss, Sarah follows Antonio and Talia onto the plane, as do Rex and Gigi.

Suddenly, Cris is informed that he's been bumped to an earlier flight then is led down a corridor - and knocked out by a couple of men!

Just as Nora comments about the happenings in Mendorra, Natalie appears at the mansion and lays into her father for the offer he presented to Jared! After Natalie informs Nora of how Clint is exploiting Langston, Nora is aghast, as listens as Natalie says, "I know what it’s like to be a part of a family you truly love then to lose it." Clint snaps at Natalie and claims that nothing will happen to Langston - and that this is the only way to get B.E. back, and that, "Your boyfriend was very eager to get on board with this!" Natalie reiterates that Jared is doing this for her then storms off, leaving Nora chastising Clint for going behind her back - again! Though Nora goes to leave, she reminds Clint that it's her house - so Clint leaves!

When John arrives at Capricorn, Blair briefly stops by to give him a kiss hello and thanks him for coming - right in front of Michael, who says, "It's nice seeing you spend time with a flesh and blood woman instead of a pack of x-rays!" Over talk of how much John has been spending on his case, Michael tries to get him to have some fun. When Blair rejoins them, Michael heads to the bar. Blair tells John about the fake apology from Todd then heads to the stage to sing for John.

At the bar, Michael and Layla talk about their damaged love lives. Over shots, Layla and Michael cheer to their drinks then listen as Blair sings a love song dedicated to a 'very special friend' titled "If You Knew My Heart." When Clint arrives at Capricorn, Dallas is waiting there to lick his wounds! Across the room, Layla convinces Michael to dance with her.

Back at the station, Oliver works on enhancing the video surveillance photo in hopes of exposing John's mystery woman. Finally, getting his program to further enhance the photo, Oliver calls John to tell him that it'll be ready by morning!

Although Todd tells Tess that he's busy at the moment, she threatens him with 'Marty', so he agrees to meet her at Llanfair and quickly tells Marty that something bad could happen if he doesn't deal with it now! Once Todd is gone, Janet helps Marty freshen up, and she asks for the nightgown that Todd bought her…

As Tina screams through the intercom of Tess's secret room, Tess activates the soundproofing device then leaves her there to stew! Alone, Tina holds David Vickers close and promises they'll get out of this jam - and beat Tess at her own game!

Todd arrives at Llanfair, and Tess informs, "We have a problem… your lovely sister Tina!" After Tess tells Todd that Tina knows her identity, he appears as though it's Tess's problem - until Tess once again reminds him that he's keeping a secret too! Although Todd says, "She's probably called Viki by now," Tess laughs and says she has Tina under control. Todd tells Tess to find some leverage on Tina then reminds Tess that he has the means to hurt Tess too! Todd leaves… As Tess thinks about 'that leverage', with images of Sarah and David Vickers the dog running through her mind, she remembers Tina freaking out about Leo being so close to the wall safe! Tess quickly goes to the safe and pulls out the crowned jewels!

Arriving back at Llanfair, just before Natalie is about to enter the living room, Jared calls to say he's boarding the plane. After exchanging 'I love you's', Natalie goes into the living room and catches Tess in the safe!

When Todd goes back home, he's speechless by how beautiful Marty looks. - and even more shocked when Marty emotionally announces that she'd love to help him raise Star's baby!
