Hey LG, ![]()
Rex should be really tired of running away from his problems by now. Although he's had good reason.
ie. (Roxy and Charlie's snaffoo and the manipulative Adrianna) He also ran away in his teens when he and Gigi were dating. (not knowing she was expecting of course)
However, a child would be just the thing that REX needs to give his life a little more substance and perspective. He'll do the right thing because he's an upstanding kinda guy these days. I know my Rexypoo. ![]()
Happy 4th

It seems to me that Brody has always truly loved Gigi. Today's Brody is quite different from the Brody that Dorian & Adrianna brought to town. That Brody was fighting in bars, drinking heavily, and womanizing. Now that he's at Gigi's he's behaving appropriately & is devoted to her & Shane. Rex does deserve to know Shane is his son. But, Rex may have a problem forgiving Gigi's lies and for keeping him from Shane all these years. Gigi's high school crush on who she thinks Rex is, could get shattered. Brody seems to love and accept Gigi regardless.
There is soap angst after all. Rex can sue for custody. Shane can rebel against Gigi. Rex could change because everyone close to him in life has been lieing to him big time-Roxie, Adrianna, and now Gigi. It seems like Brody will still be there for Gigi. Rex is adorable. Brody is hot.

y'all are both right, I'm glad I'm not a writer, I wouldn't know what to do with them. I want to see both Rex and Brody happy. Neither of them did anything wrong to deserve all the trouble and pain that will come out with the truth. I think they both love Shane and Gigi. I hope they will bring another girl in to comfort whoever ends up broken hearted...

Shep....hope you had a good 4th.
I think Nora does not talk ill of Lindsay TO MATTHEW because of Jen and Bo. Nora knows that Matthew was close to Jen and since Lindsay is Jen's mother and all. Also because of Bo because he is Matthew's father.
BUT, Bo, as Matthew's father should know better than to get romantically involved with Lindsay YET AGAIN.

I watch OLTL and others... I wonder WHY thy can't make at least ONE couple happily ever after?? I thought for a minute it was gonna be Dr Mike andhis wife but no that had to mess them up wih the Sam kid thing?? I mean geeezzz on all the soaps NOT ONE marrige is happy for long!! I think they should at lease have ONE happy CONTINOUSLY happy couple... what the heck could it hurt!!! I am disabled and home ALL day and watch tv but they are getting so depressing!!! I love them all but I think the writers need to really think about this... JUST ONE is all I ask!!!

I agree that there should be at least one 'happily ever after' marriage on a soap. On AMC, Joe & Ruth Martin have been married since the show started in 1970. And, their children (Tara & Phil) were seniors in high school in 1970. I think the actor who has played Joe Martin for all these years is 80 now. He still looks good. GH had Monica & Alan Quartermaine (until he died) & Edward & Lila Q (until she died). But, there's none on OLTL.

I agree with your stats btucker519.
Maybe Starr and Cole can be the next Lucy and Ricky Ricardo and Langston and Markko can be the next Ethel and Fred Mertz. lol
It would make the afternoons a little less depressing. Maybe these two couples can portray the family and friendship mentioned above that reflects the wholesome part of the world that still exist. (Fresh and meaningful)

Hey jumps!
That may be true - that she doesn't talk ill of Lindsay because of Jen, but I just can't buy it being continued after all this time. Nora is a GOOD mother and she knows how to couch her words very carefully - enough so that she can make him understand that the things Lindsay did are not a reflection on Jen. I think that when Matthew gets older and he DOES hear the truth about what Lindsay did - he will resent both Bo and Nora for keeping it from him - I think it's possible he may feel like a fool. He absolutely SHOULD be told the whole ugly truth - the sooner the better.
