Talia slaps Antonio, Blair turns to John for help, and Nash and Sarah talk business...
Still in bed at the vineyard, although Jess wonders if Nash is getting in a little too deep with these new partners, Nash kisses her and says, “Trust me… I’m doing it for you, for Bree and our family.” Suddenly, Jessica gets out of bed then gives Nash a gift – a photo album of Bree. When the phone rings, Nash takes a business call then tells Jess he has to leave for Napa tomorrow. Nash goes to call Sarah, then tells Jessica he needs more money for his venture and leaves.
Just as Sarah tells Cris that she’s been researching Napa, Blair arrives at the diner to meet with Cris and Antonio. Over at the counter, after a couple of cops joke with Antonio about Talia dumping him for John – a better-looking guy, Antonio is not amused! Antonio then goes to Blair, who has the contract for Capricorn, to which Antonio announces that the club is officially hers! When Blair leaves, Antonio snaps at the cops who are staring at him – and Cris calls Antonio out about having a problem with Talia and John! Totally on edge, Antonio says no matter what Lee’s motives are he needs his job – and says that Talia and John need to give up their plan to bring Lee down!
Blair sees Markko, goes to him then asks if he knows anything about Cole sneaking into the mansion the other night. Once Blair assures Markko that he can talk to her, Markko says how dumb it is that his friends are being kept apart. However, Blair reminds him of what Todd is capable of. When Blair wonders how they can get through to Cole, Markko suggests having John talk to him.
When Jessica goes to visit Cris at his studio, she’s shocked to see he still has a photo he painted of her. Smiling, Cris looks at the photo then at Jess and says, “You haven’t changed much.” Over talk of family, Jess asks about Antonio, and Cris claims he’s handling himself.
Nash meets Sarah at the diner to make sure she can leave tomorrow. Although Sarah can, she asks, “Why do you have so much faith in me?” Nash talks about how Sarah pulled off all those bands at Capricorn, not to mention what a knockout she is, then promises not to ever put her on ‘display’ during their trip!
Lee gets a call from someone, to which he promises, “I’ll come up with the money. Let’s just hope this works this time.” After Talia and John come in, drop off a file, Lee looks at the file then screams, “Stop!” When Lee tosses away the Angel’s Square drug case that they were working on, John confides in Talia, “I think something big is going down.”
As Talia and John are joking over work and football, Antonio arrives and catches Talia with her hand on John’s shoulder! Later, after John gets a call and says he has to leave, Talia cracks a joke at him about brushing off work. Lee hands Antonio the same case that he took away from John and Talia, causing Talia to huff about it, to which Antonio asks, “What the hell was that about?” Antonio starts ranting about John and Talia, but Talia explains how badly John wants to nail Ramsey! After Antonio says, “I think John wants to nail someone else,” Talia stops his accusations with a slap across the face! Lee smirks from his office.
John meets Blair at the diner to hear that she caught Cole sneaking into the mansion. “If Todd would have caught him,” Blair says. “I don’t know what might have happened.” Although Blair expresses worry for Cole, John wonders if her really worry is for Todd!
In Natalie’s office, when Jared stops Natalie, wanting to know who she was talking about when saying, “I don’t like finding out that people aren’t who they say they are,” he swipes away a loose strand of her hair and replies, “You’re talking about me…” Jared leans in as if to kiss Natalie... Just then, Clint barges in with excitement and asks, “How would you like to go up to the Buchanan Lodge together?” After Clint explains how everyone from B.E. is meeting at the cabin for a little R&R, to go along with work, Jared and Natalie agree to go. Once Clint is gone, Natalie assures Jared that there was nothing going on between them before her father appeared.
At B.E., Charlie talks to Viki and worries how his meeting with Clint’s assistant went. After Charlie is summonsed into Clint’s office, Clint assures Charlie that he’s glad to be doing business with him – then gives Charlie a friendly warning not to hurt Viki! After Charlie leaves, Clint calls Jessica to invite her to the lodge.
Later, when Nigel appears, Natalie heads out to handle some business, leaving Nigel to ask Jared, “Hmmm… Trouble with your niece?” When Jared talks about how he never wanted to hurt anyone with this scam, Nigel calls Jared honorable – more honorable than David Vickers could ever be!
After Nigel leaves, Charlie stops to see Jared who says, “I don’t know how much longer I can keep up this charade.” No matter what it costs, Charlie promises to stand by Jared, even if it means losing Viki. However, Charlie can’t see how Viki would ever forgive him – and Jared agrees.
When Natalie runs into Viki, she talks about having to go to the cabin then says, “How could something that is so wrong feel so right in my heart?” Natalie rethinks her statement then turns the talk to Charlie, to which Viki admits happily, “It’s too good to be true.” When Charlie appears, Natalie starts to think maybe a little R&R at the cabin will be nice then says her goodbyes to her mom, who plans to spend the rest of the day with Charlie. From the doorway, Clint watches as Charlie and Viki kiss.
Natalie finds Jared in her office and says she has to pack but will be back to ride to the cabin with him. After she leaves, Nigel appears and asks, “Are you ready,” to which Jared replies, “Yeah, I’m ready this time.”
