LOL The look on Renee' and Matthew's faces when Alex walked in- PRICELESS!!!!!! Wonderful wonderful show today.

I must agree......kudos to OLTL today. Today was a very nice tribute to an exceptional character.....Asa Buchanan. He was a wonderful actor and "made" Asa Buchanan, irreplacible and will not be forgotten.

I was nice seeing all the old characters back....I would love to see Max come back to town and ruffle Todds feathers a little concerning Blair. Knowing that Blair and Todd belong together. (He gets to have her in life)

Today's episode was tearful and funny. I am so glad they kept todd to his old seff his comments about ASA death "the day is just getting better" but when natalie kick him out was so funny. Matthew's face was so real i could not help my self but to laugh when Alex showed up.

Asa, you will be missed. No one can replace you. Although it was great to see Max and Cord, I wish they would have kept Asa on the show. Wouldn't it be nice if Jessica and Natalie could move to England, and Cord, Kevin, Joey, and Max just take their place? The show would be a heck of a lot more interesting.

forevergolden, yes it WOULD be nice to ship Jess and her annoying sister overseas! lol Max and the boys are awesome! Having David show up to interact with everyone would've made my day, though.
And to answer question I saw, Phil Carey did not pass away. I can't remember all the details, but I guess ABC didn't want to pay him what he wanted when his contract expired. (I think) So he walked. And as big as his role was, I don't blame him.

Todays episode was good, I loved seeing Cord again, since I have not watched the show in about 15 years, and started watching again.Know what I think, I think that abc left it open for Asa to come back, I think the storyline would go something like this, Asa faked his own death to see how his sons would run the company without him, if you noticed, we did not see Asa in a open casket, everything was done so quickly. so abc has on option to pay him what he wants and write him back in the show.
I hope that Cord and his daughter can mend fences, it is really sad when a family is so divided like that.
Max is still just as good looking as he was back then.
Oh, and if you want to know how long it has been since i have watched the show, vicky had just had Jessica, shortly after that i stopped watching for reasons i cant even think of.

Today's show was great. It was really refreshing to get away from the usual stories, and see most of the Buchanan's. It would have been nice to see Hank, Rae, and Larry as well.

I am suprised that Carlos Hesser did not show up to make sure the old coot was dead. I love the Asa character he was as a real soap star. If you watched the old Bonanza's you might get a glimse of the stunning young man Phil Carey (Asa) he was a trophy in his days. Mr Phil Carey I hope you recovery from your ilness I am praying for you- you did bring sunshine on those hay days. Thank You
