One Life to Live In Raritan, New Jersey On Location Shoot!

Friday, November 13 2009

Nevius Street Bridge (John Figlar/The Star-Ledger)
Again, One Life to Live has taken its cast and crew on location for some of its December episodes!

The show just finished wrapping up a two-day location shoot in Raritan, New Jersey, a borough of Somerset County. The upcoming scenes will take place at the Nevius Street Bridge, which was closed to the public in order for the show to film uninterrupted, where fans can expect a hostage situation to unfold! Actors who will appear will include Trevor St. John (Todd Manning), Kassie DePaiva (Blair Cramer), Robert S. Woods (Bo Buchanan), Michael Lowry (Ross Rayburn), Florencia Lozano (Tea Delgado) and Kelley Massal (Dani Rayburn).

After searching for just the right bridge to use, Brian O’Meara, Production Manager, said of the Nevius Street Bridge, “The reason we like it is because it’s close to traffic and it’s a very majestic looking bridge.”

Expect to see these episodes air during the weeks of December 7 and 14.

Soaps.com is excited for this upcoming storyline, are you? Please leave us your comments below, and if you want to know where the scenes were filmed when Ross took Blair captive on the boat, during Todd's wedding to Tea, please visit our One Life to Live News Room!

I'm not excited. Location shooting can't replace good scripts. Up until a few months ago OLTL had them, and though it hasn't gotten as bad as AMC and GH, it is definitely not as good as it was last summer.

I am convinced why whenever "classic" episodes are rerun they aren't from the 70s and 80s so viewers won't be reminded of how good the soaps used to be.

I think the upcoming story line sounds exciting maybe in this distressed situation Tea and blair can unite and come out of the situation as friends and todd tea dani and rest of the manning family can be one big extended happy family.. hey, ya never know.....put blair with elijah and tea with todd???

I'm really looking forward to this Location shots always make it more real I hope this will bring TnT closer together with all thier Family And Dani to see that Ross turned againist her mother. Anyway OLTL is the best soap on The only thing wrong with it they could recast.

I think this has potential to be a VERY good story. Depends on if the actors do their parts. For one to find out he has a daughter and one to find out he doesn't, a torn mother... all makes for a great story. As far as Blair goes, not sure how she fits into it all...she knows and by now she knows why Tea didn't tell Todd or Ross. So far I like what I have seen of Dani. Maybe it will work!

Hi Amy. You really hit the nail on the head in your weekly summary. I too heart Schuyler for his truly unselfish act in resisting Gigi's drunken come on. I never really believed in Rex and Gigi. Not even in Paris, Texas. If magic and history can't keep Rex and Gigi together, then the reality of Schuyler will hopefully put an end to that star crossed relationship. Stacey is stll in the mix as well. Schuyler will eventually remember that Stacey slipped a mickey in his soda and in failing to seduce him that night, will set the paternity test wheels in motion. We hope. It's nice that Shane likes the future Dr. Joplin, as well.

I am really glad that TPTB aren't making a big deal out of Kyle and Fish's relationship and are allowing the writers to develop the relationship with a sense of normalcy side by side with Layla and Cris' new love. I hope that both of these couples are allowed some time to become part of the legacy of families in Llanview that we have come to believe in and love. OLTL is really pushing the envelope with their legacy families and really keeping things current on the canvas. Thanks again Amy for your insights every week.

Please tell me I am not going to have to turn OLTL OFF for good, due to being sickened by having to watch 2 men in bed making out!!! Bad enough to have to watch them kiss! I don't judge gays to hell because God judges the heart, but I don't condone it & certainly don't like to watch it! You can tell that ABC is all for the gays & Lesbians. At least Y&R was more tactful & tasteful with their gay scenes! May have to switch to CBS Soaps!!!

Oh I know what you mean Canbo!
I feel the same way when Jared and Natalie or Bo and Nora would make out!
It was so sloppy and wet and noisy I always felt uncomfortable!
I mean I have nothing against straight people, but I REALLY don't want to see them kissing or making out, let alone hear it.
I mean to each their own, and I am not a judge, but can't they keep that behind closed doors??
I mean, wow, who wants to see too people showing their love for each other!?!?!

(insert sarcasm)
