Many have been wondering if the rumors surrounding a possible exit for One Life to Live's John Brotherton (Jared Banks) are true, and though ABC gave Soaps.com their statement on the matter, "We do not comment on rumors," the actor is indeed leaving and moving back to Los Angeles.

The actor has recently made some tweets on Twitter that indicate the fact...

"Packing boxes and looking forward to some sunny SoCal!!!!," "packing and packing and packing..." and "Everyone's support is met with huge appreciation! Much love!"

So, what does this mean for Jared and Natalie (Melissa Archer), and will Jared be leaving the canvas as the bad guy John (Michael Easton) suspects him to be? Stay tuned, as Soaps.com will keep our readers posted with any further developments and John's last air date.

John had told us that prior to receiving the One Life role, he lived in California and literally packed up everything and moved to New York after receiving the part of Jared - so it makes sense that he would leave New York to head back to Southern California, as his tweet implied, as well. John whatever you do stay away from All My Children! Didn't seem like the writers really knew how to give you a good story. Hope you find a soap or something else where the writers will do right by you. Good luck!

Well it looks like St. John Mac will think you are in on the stalking. But I think you just know who one of the stalkers is. An old jail mate of yours that must feel you owe him. For some reason you are not giving him up to the police. That will be your downfall.

Honestly, what are TIIC thinking? Guess they had to come up with some way to pay for all the old characters returning. Yawn! I LOVED Jared and his pairing with Natalie. Now I am worried about Charlie. Depending on how TIIC write the character of Jared out, will his father, Charlie, stick around town?

OLTL is already in NY - they are just moving to the old AMC studios, which are also in NY.

bigtime - OLTL already films in NY, they're just moving into the larger AMC studio when AMC moves to California.

Why are they letting him go when they could do us all a favor and get rid of Stacy and Kim. I like Jared and Nat together. I hope to see him on another soap. Good luck John

I dont get it if One life to live is supposedly moving to LA and so is John then why is he leaving the show?

:::::::UUUUUGGGGGHHHHH::::::::: WHY IS HE GOING AND STACY AND KIM ARE STAYIIIING????? GOODNESS WHERE WHO HIRED THESE NEW WRITERS THEY CLEARLY DONT KNOW WHERE TO BRING THESE STORY LINES.....I AM SO UPSET!!!! THIS SOAP KEEPS DISAPPOINTING ME EVERYDAY IM THINKIN OF TAKING A LIL BREAK BECAUSE THIS IS NON SENSE!!!1

Ok, lets get it straight.."One Life to Live" is already based in New York, they are not moving to California. The Cast will move to the bigger studio where "All My Children" is now located in New York. "All My Children" is the only soap that is moving to California. Now as for the Jared character, I'm going to miss him. It's sad that he will now end up loosing Nat over a secret. Which is obvious he's involved with the stalking senerio! Stay Strong Natalie!

When Jarred fist showed up, I couldn't stand him, but after time I warmed (once he and Nat started up) to him eventually. But lately I haven't been feeling him, he's been kinda cheesy. So I'm not super bummed to see him go, but man do Stacy and Kim need to hit the road. I can't stand stacy, not a good actor and not a good character. And well, adding another stripper to the already horrible story line... Eeeeeesh.
