"One Life in a Week!" (August 24 - 28)
If there's one thing I can say about Tea, she sure knows how to turn on the tears - props to Florencia Lozano, until her return, I didn't think there was an actress more capable of this talent other than Bree Williamson (Jessica Brennan) - and I mean this with the utmost compliment! I think Marty's finally ready to bury her demons surrounding Todd, and though I was hoping we'd get to see her and Todd play out this doctor/patient relationship a bit longer, the entire scene dealt with a lifetime of emotions - well done writers! Except, what was with the "Pirates of the Caribbean" lunchbox? John's gesture was sweet, but if we had to add the kiddie element, I would have preferred a "Twilight" one - Team Edward, of course!
Todd appears to be a changed man, but we've seen Todd fall in love before, so I'm not sure what to make of his feelings for Tea. I think the show would have us to believe that he's truly, finally, found his place in this world - in the arms of Tea - but I'm sure when he finds out her secret he'll revert right back to being that vengeful man I've enjoyed watching for years. I know a lot of people don't like Todd, for those reasons, but to me he isn't Todd any other way. Needless to say, his marriage proposal to Tea, and Blair locating Ross, go hand in hand to start the beginning of what's to become a very dramatic storyline.
A few weeks ago I talked about how predictable the lead-in into this Viki/Dorian storyline was - and just watching them go at it this week only verified it for me… I'm not looking forward to it. While I realize that these two have been rivals since the get go, I'm just not into it anymore and wish there was a way for the writers to pull me back in without taking these repetitious routes. However, there will be an immediate need for Dorian to jump deeper into the campaign, as you can imagine with Viki now running for mayor, given that John has uncovered the mayor's dirty little secret! However, I foresee this bust not being an easy one and, just know, there's more to come surrounding the safety of Starr and Hope, which many residents of Llanview will have a hand in.
As far as Rachel and Greg, not much to say, except for more predictably. I did get a kick out of David's comment when finding her on the floor in a close moment with Greg... David introduced Rachel to the camera by saying, "Rachel with her boyfriend's brother… Are you pulling a Nora?" Classic David!
I'm ready, like yesterday, for this stalker storyline to give us a few more hints into who's behind the man wearing Nash's brown coat - the writers are doing a grand job keeping us on our toes with this storyline!

The truth is finally out surrounding Fish. I really liked how the show had Layla find out through Nick. I would have liked for Fish to have come clean when Layla approached him about his sexuality, after talking to Cris, rather than have Fish take the 'but I'm not gay' route again, but it'll be nice to watch the emotional truth finally come out in full next week - maybe we can then move on with this great storyline and see some more Fish and Kyle interaction, and pray for no more Stacy/Fish scenes, but I wouldn't be surprised if the writers put a 'little Fish' in her oven...
On the fun side of things this week, Markko's jealousy over seeing Langston with Ford landed the two love birds back in each other's arms for some alone time - and in Markko's defense, he had every right to be jealous... My initial impression of Ford was 'geeky' but he was totally hot in that 'cool down' scene! Back to the couple at hand... Though there's going to be plenty of drama surrounding the mess Cole is in, I'd like to see Markko and Langston drawn in as well, as these two need a new storyline ASAP!
News came this week that Kevin Buchanan will be coming back to Llanview. This news couldn't have made me happier, but we all want to know where he will fit in. I've added a poll to speculate on this, so please take a moment to vote your ideas here!
Thanks for stopping by again this week! Please feel free to vote in my poll about Ross and share your thoughts on the show's storylines below.
