"One Life in a Week!" (August 3 - 7)
The double wedding went off without a hitch, minus Dorian and Blair's comical, yet classic, interruption. Viki and Charlie were so sweet, but Nora, the coward, and Clint the sloppy seconds picker-upper weren't worth watching at all. Though I was looking forward to Blair and Dorian's fantasy sequence, it didn't do much for me - not until they crashed the wedding in 'real time'! The bouquet catching scene couldn't have gone any better, and the look on Tea's face equally highlighted Blair's, in an opposite way!
On the matter of Bo and Nora struggling to get their feelings in check… I can't see Clint and Nora's marriage lasting. Bo and Nora have way too much history, and with the court battle beginning, they'll be pushed together even more so, emotionally. What did you think of their new lawyer? This guy is not only going to be a force to be reckoned with, Tea's world is about to become just a bit harder to control, as Elijah has a few unforeseen tricks in his briefcase - and they don't necessarily have anything to do with Matthew's lawsuit!
Did you take a good look at the hand that traced Nash's gravestone? It is apparent the person Jessica is taking for Nash is a man - and one who has now made it apparent he too blames Natalie and Jared for Nash's death. Yes, Nash is still dead, not that I know who this person is, but if the show brought Nash back from the dead, it would be very farfetched, seeing as we all witnessed his death, funeral and burial - with Nash in the casket. I'm liking this storyline and hope it doesn't disappoint!
Todd went all out this week to gain Tea's love, which isn't really a hard chore for him to do, by having salsa sensation Frankie Negron serenade her. I'm a huge fan of salsa music, or maybe it's the fact that I've always wanted to take salsa lessons, as I think the tone and moves are so sensual and sexy, who wouldn't want to grab their partner for that? Anyway, back to Frankie's serenade… Frankie not only has a way with words, he's a hottie to boot - so Todd definitely gets props from me for his latest romantic stunt!
Gigi may have gotten her wish this week, but don't count Stacy out just yet. A woman this resourceful is sure to have a few more things - a baby maybe - up her sleeve to trap Rex. I know Stacy is far from my favorite character, but I would be lying if I didn't admit that I felt sorry for her - no one should have to lose a child, no matter what the situation surrounding its conception. And Gigi trying to give Stacy money to have an abortion… I can't totally fault her - she's a desperate woman trying to save her family, which she's been trying to do ever since her evil sister came to town, who I might add is still a delusional mess.

If I didn't like Greg before, I definitely don't like him now. His arrogance is sickening, especially to be going after his brother's girl! However, I must give him one thing… He's right, Shaun is too nice of a guy, and even though Rachel seems miffed with Greg, the bad boys always seem to beat out the others in the end. I can already see the growing attraction weaved into the tension between Rachel and Greg, and it's only a matter of time before they end up in each other's arms - and before Shaun's heart gets broken. What did I tell you? This was just bound to happen from the get go. So, what does that mean? Bad writing, or just the way the bubbles pop in soaps?
We got deeper into Cole's undercover storyline and met the big wig behind the operation, so we're led to believe, and with the turn of events, the bug planted at Cole's apartment and Starr's call shortly after, I see how easily things could turn on a dime - and Starr and Hope's lives could be in danger. Though many probably fear for this, I think it would add a lot to this storyline and can't wait to see how it all unfolds. As hard as it's been for Starr and Cole to remain 'kids at heart' their current situation calls for more adult understanding and knowledge than they've had to experience yet!
Glad you stopped by again this week for another rant session. I invite you to vote in my poll about Todd's new romantic streak and please leave me your thoughts on Llanview below.
