A Martinez Coming to One Life to Live!

The rumor mill is buzzing, and although ABC has yet to comment, A Martinez is coming back to daytime - and to One Life to Live as Ray Montez on September 10, 2008!

No stranger to daytime, A is best known for his role in the January 15, 1993 canceled soap Santa Barbara as the hot detective Cruz Castillo from 1984 to 1992. From there he went on to play Roy Dilucca from 1999 to 2002 on ABC's Port Charles, as well as crossing over to PC's mother show General Hospital during the same timeframe.

As of late, A has kept his name in the acting world, appearing in primetime and in such films as Desolation Canyon and Born In The USA. He is currently working on the post-production of the made for TV movie Little Girl Lost: The Delimar Vera Story as Angel Cruz - set to be released on August 17, 2008 on USA. Soaps.com definitely welcomes the addition to the show, as A has always been a big hit in daytime!

I love A Martinez and think that he would be an asset to any soap that he decided to be on.

Never watched him on another soap, but I heard he was very good. Now, the TV movies and such I have seen him I really liked his work and I hope this rumor is true and he is coming to Llanview. He is still very sexy!

Yes ! Oh, yes! A MArtinez is great, please make him the new police commissioner and a relative of Carlotta. I can't wait for this new cast member.I have watched him in many roles, he will be the punch this soap needs. Will he be Rex's long-lost father or a guy who loves a laugh with Roxy? I would wish his 1st day is doing the Salsa with Roxy at Angel Square "fuund-raising" and Carlotta coming over to see her long lost baby brother!

I am so happy that A is coming to OLTL! I heard that he is supposed to be Langston's uncle and a possible love interest for Dorian or Roxy. I would love to see him with Dorian and as Langston't uncle. They could have a little family of their own!

A Martinez is an awesome actor and would be a wonderful addition to OLTL. However, could this tall, dark and handsome guy be replacing another tall, dark and handsome guy on Llanview's Police Department??? Hmmmmm.... Something to ponder.

I'm also happy to hear the A Martinez will be coming to OLTL. I hope his story line will be a stable one. I have not been watching this Soap for some months now, due to the stupid storyline with Jessica and Todd again.

I wonder if he will be Cole's father coming back from where ever they go in protective custody?
