One Life to Live's Gina Tognoni Returns As Kelly Cramer!

Gina Tognoni
After months of speculation, and with the recent end of Guiding Light, and her role as Dinah Marler, Gina Tognoni is heading back to Llanview as Kelly Cramer in 2010!

Gina created the role back in 1995 and stayed with the show until 2001, with a brief return in 2002 before the character was recast with Tracy Melchior (The Bold and the Beautiful's ex-Kristen Forrester Dominguez) then Heather Tom (The Bold and the Beautiful's Katie Logan).

With news of Dan Gauthier's brief return fans have been hoping that Kelly would come back home with Kevin - but their returns will not be related!

Soaps.com wants to congratulate Gina on her return to her Daytime roots! The actress will begin taping in January 2010.

wow mitch,kevin and now kelly coming back looks like i made the right choice to give up gh for oltl they took the place of gh for me ,i cant wait to see whats in store for this wonderful soap lol

Not that thrilled with this news. I did NOT like Kelly all that much the last time she was in Llanview and was glad she left town. But maybe TIIC will write a much better sl for "Kelly" this time.

I was liking Heather Tom playing Kelly. It took a while to get use to the Kelly "changes" but with the original Kelly returning, I don't know how that will sit in now that I accepted Heather playing her. We will see.

I am thrilled! It is what I have been begging the show to realize, these stars like Tognoni and greats like Andrea Evans are the reason long time fans of the show watch this show, we love them. To us these actresses are the characters, meaning that it is hard to watch when ,for example, although I love Cassie Depiva, its hard to watch when a character goes from being Asian to White or a redhead to a bleach blond like we dont notice. Its great to see a dynamic actress like Gina coming back and a plus to her credit she has won two new daytime emmys.

i haven`t seen anything about Mitch returning. Kelly has never been a character I liked. Heather Tom was my favorite Kelly however.

i loved gina on my now late soap Guding light...so glad i started watching oltl now..i love gina!!

I'd rather Heather Tom be Kelly. I did not know until I looked at these comments that Gina was the original. And what's this..........was Blair originally Asian?
