It has been confirmed, Michael will appear in the role of Ross Rayburn - the guy Todd left Tea on the island with years ago. The role was last played by Days of Our Lives actor Shawn Christian (Dr. Daniel Jonas) back in 2002, but stay tuned, as Ross is sure to put a kink in Todd (Trevor St. John) and Tea's (Florencia Lozano) relationship!

Though ABC did confirm to Soaps.com that Michael's role will be 'someone from the past', the network does not want to comment on his character's name, as not to ruin the upcoming storyline.

It's been a busy day in soapland today folks! One Life to Live has just announced yet another casting detail - and this guy is no stranger to Daytime!

Michael Lowry will be joining the cast as a character from the past, as ABC revealed. Though his character name and first airdate is still a mystery, stay tuned as Soaps.com will keep our readers posted!

Michael is best remembered for his role on sister soap All My Children, where he played Dr. Jake Martin from 1997 to 2000, but he's also appeared in CBS' The Bold and the Beautiful as Dr. Hillman (2006), as well as on As The World Turns as Les Sweeney from 2004 to 2005.

Soaps.com wants to welcome Michael to the cast! We look forward to seeing what Llanview has in store for him!

I don't know this for sure, but based on what I read on another site, I get the feeling that this may be Ross, the man that was stuck on the island with Todd and Tea years ago.

Enjoyed him as Jake on AMC. He is easy on the eyes. Wonder who from the past he will be?

Yes, from other things I have read, I think he is going to be the Ross re-cast. Good choice. I can see him in that role.

I think he might be Ross from the Todd and Tea island. He'll be involved in the reveal of Tea's secret.

Of course he could also be Spencer Truman. It could be the person Lindsay killed was a body double for Truman, as he switched identities when spencer got sick.

Guess we'll find out soon.

maybe hes Joey or Keven, MIchaels too young to be SPenser and hes
on recurring
so I don't think hes Ross.

I think Stacy needs to grow up and get a life. Of course she is pregnant, we all seen this coming, so what else is new?She needs to go because she is a nothing actress

I am more than confident to say that Michael Lowery will play Ross Rayburn the man from Tea past that Todd left on the Island with Tea. I think Tea ran away with Ross for about 20 some years,were they had a great life together. Thats how Kimberly Andrews aka "Summer" gets in the picture the girl that is Stacy's stripper friend. I think she is Ross and Tea's daughter that they had during their time together. I think Tea came back to Lanview because she loves Todd and she wants a life with him,and she wants to leave Ross and Kimberly in order to start a new life w/ Todd,and thats her secret from the past.
