ABC Daytime and One Life to Live have always had success incorporating musical talents into their Llanview storylines when the characters appear to need some downtime – and now we’ll have the pleasure of seeing one of music’s greats appear soon... Mr. Lionel Richie!

Though Lionel’s airdate has not been released yet, he’ll be in the studios taping his performance tomorrow June 12, along with "Jeremiah," where they’ll sing his new single “Just Go.”

Lionel’s appearance is all part of a new campaign that ABC is sponsoring, and you won’t want to miss finding out what other musical star will be taking a big part in it! You can read more on that in our Latest News Room.

Soaps.com wants to welcome Lionel to the show, and we’re very excited to have such a legend appear on the stages of Llanview!

This is exactly what I love about "One Life to Live". Second to Tika being on the show, it's those exciting, charged-up musical performances. Hope the trend never gets old.

Can't wait to see Lionel. Just wish his original band, 'The Commodores', was along for the ride. Can you say "Brick House?? . . .

Yes, I agree Mr. Ritchie is Great! and he wasn't bad as a commordore either!! I miss all of them!! welcome to Landview!
