Her character may currently be locked in a secret room in Llanfair, but don't think she's going to be staying there forever… Melissa Archer (Natalie Buchanan) has just renewed her contract with One Life to Live!

Last Friday, Melissa made things official but has yet to comment on how long her new deal is inked for. In any case, we couldn't be happier with this news! Melissa arrived on the scene in July of 2001 and has been involved in numerous front burner storylines since.

For those who wonder what Melissa does in her free time, you may find it interesting to know that Melissa just married fiancé Glenn Angelino back on August 8, 2008! If you want to stop over and read the article in full, and leave Melissa your congrats as well, you can do so here!

Soaps.com wants to congratulate Melissa on her new contract! We can't wait to see what Natalie has in store for Tess (Bree Williamson) once she escapes the confines of the secret room!

I am so glad Natalie finally got out of the secret room! That was one of my least favorite OLTL story-lines, it went on for toooo long. I got so tired of Melissa's horrible acting/crying. I record my soaps and fast forwarded through those scenses.
