Buckle your seat belts, fans, it's going to be a bumpy ride! Melissa Fumero's return air date has just been announced, so you can expect her to return on canvas this Thursday September 18, 2008! Will she be surprised to find Rex (John-Paul Lavoisier) head over heels in love with Gigi (Farah Fath)? Or does she have a spy still in Llanview who's been keeping her up-to-date with everything that's gone on since she left?

Previously Reported on August 7, 2008:

We last saw Adriana when she left for a trip to Paris - and separation from Rex - back on June 11, 2008. Soaps.com has heard the rumors of an Adriana return, so we went to the character's portrayer, Melissa Fumero, for the scoop!

When I asked Melissa if there was any truth to the possibility of a return, Melissa confirmed that she will be bringing Adriana back to Llanview for about fifteen episodes that should air in late September or early October.

For those of you wondering what this means for the Rex (John-Paul Lavoisier), Adriana and Gigi (Farah Fath) triangle… Melissa gave me this little teaser to hold you over, "Had to come back and wreak some havoc…"

Soaps.com wants to welcome Melissa back to the show - even if it is just for a little while. We've missed you and can't wait to see what Adriana has planned for those who have scorned her in Llanview!

Once again, we are glad to be able to clear up the rumor mill and are very happy that this one is true!

Adriana is just coming back to propel the Gigi/Rex story to the next level. She will let it slip that Gigi lied about Shane's paternity, so Rex will be mad at GiGi, but divorce Adriana for keeping such a secret.

Stay gone Melissa, you are too good for Llanview! I wish you all the best and success out there. You are a great actress!

I will also be glad to see her come back because I can't stand Gigi at all. Especially after Rex dumped her for that little lie she told which is nothing compared to the one Gigi has been telling. I wish she would stay longer than just a few episodes. I think that she is a very pretty woman.

I hope Adriana returns just long enough for Rex to divorce her and for her to tell Shane that Rex is his father. Liked the character for awhile, but did not like her at all towards the end.

I LIKED AUDRIANA AND THOUGHT SHE AND REX HAS BETTER CHEMISTRY AS TO GIGI AND COME ON NOW LETS BE FAIR ANY GIRL WOULD BE JEALOUS THEIR FIANCE HAD A HOT EX GIRLFRIEND AROUND. LEAVE ADRIANA STAY ON PUT HER WITH BRODY WHO LOOKS WAY HOTTER THAN REX

I agree that Adrianna should stay around. Rex kept telling her she had nothing to worry about and he knew that was a lie. I like her better than Gigi and want her and Brody to run off together and be rich and let Rex continue to be next to broke.

I don't want her to come back at all. I just want Rex and Gigi and Shane to have a chance to be happy. I want Brody gone, gone, gone. Adrianna was just horrible the last three months. I was happy she left and wanted her to stay gone.
