In light of the current situation regarding One Life to Live’s Nathaniel Martson’s (Michael McBain) arrest after an alleged attack on three bystanders in midtown Manhattan on October 20, 2007 at 4:50 a.m, Soaps.com wanted to reach out to the fans and let them know where things stand concerning not only the show, but Nathaniel himself.

Out of respect for Nathaniel, we were able to contact both ABC and Nathaniel’s rep for a comment to which they relayed…

"We are aware of the incident and are reviewing the details." – Lauri Hogan, ABC Media Relations

“I would like to thank all the amazing people who have sent their support and well wishes to Nathaniel. I have spoken to him and passed on your kind thoughts, and please know that he was very, very appreciative of all the good will and support sent his way. I hope you all understand that I have to respect his privacy and can't comment on the situation at this time. I'll keep you updated as much as I can as soon as I can, but until then I will continue to pass along your good wishes.” – Rep from Nathan's Official Website

Soaps.com wants to send our thoughts to both Nathaniel and the show and hope that others give them the space and privacy needed to resolve this matter.

Although we don’t presume to know the details that led to this event, we recognize that there are many people out there, both in and out of the public eye, who don’t know where to turn when life takes its toll… We encourage those who are struggling with personal issues and who feel lost to consult a professional and find your way back home…
