Tea arrives at Todd's, and after they briefly talk about the lack of tips on Jessica's whereabouts, Tea lets him know that Dani is enrolled at Llanview High. Again, Todd worries about Dani never forgiving him, but Tea assures him she just needs some time. Todd wonders where things stand between him and Tea, and as she tries to explain how she feels, she accepts Todd's kiss.
A Bold Move...
Still at the apartment, while waiting for Dani to get ready, Starr and Tea talk about how Dani and Todd are handling their new connection - and the dangers of Mitch. "I wish someone would finally do something about Mitch," Starr says. "Once and for all." Tea apologizes for keeping Dani from Starr, but Starr is just happy that Dani can share Tea with her. Tea takes Starr in a tight hug.
My Water Just Broke!
As Blair texts Eli, at Todd's, Tea appears and asks, "Where's Todd?" Blair doesn't know but admits that Todd missed her when she was gone. Blair offers to give her and Todd space, by taking the boys and leaving, but Tea insists she stay because right now she's only concerned about her daughter. Todd arrives home and talks about his rejection from Dani, as Tea and Blair try to reassure him. When Tea talks about Dani having to go back to school, Blair suggests since she and Dani get along so well, she'd be willing to talk to Dani - about enrolling in school. Blair makes it clear she's not stepping on Tea's toes, thanks Tea for always treating her kids so good then says, "Let me do this for you." Tea sincerely declines Blair's offer and says she needs to deal with Dani herself. After Tea leaves, Todd thanks Blair for trying to help and asks her and the boys to stay there as long as they need to.
Back at the apartment, when Cole rejoins them and tells Starr that he and Hope are ready, she expresses wanting to stay home today with Dani. After Cole leaves, just as Starr and Dani are making plans for the day, Tea arrives, and Dani rants at Tea for Todd's visit earlier. Once she calms down, Tea asks, "How would you like to go to school in Llanview, with Starr?" Dani is ecstatic that she doesn't have to go back to boarding school! While Dani goes off to get dressed, for enrollment, Starr admits to Tea that Dani isn't doing so well - where Todd is concerned.
An Enlightening Encounter...
Todd wakes up in bed from a nightmare, causing Tea to rush into his room. As she comforts Todd, who was dreaming he'd lost her and Dani, they think about Jessica. After Todd takes a shower, he admits he's not just worried about Mitch going after his kids but about Dani not forgiving him. Tea assures Todd that Dani is stubborn, like him, and that she'll come around.
Interruptions All Around...
Viki is still with Todd at Llanfair, worrying about what Mitch has done with Jessica, and becomes frantic when she can't get a hold of Clint. As she makes a few more calls, Todd answers the door to Tea, who's stopped by to see if there have been any new developments. While Tea is checking on Bree, Todd wonders where Charlie is, but Viki is evasive. Suddenly, Tea reappears with Bree, who wants to know when her mommy is coming home.
As Tea is trying to calm Bree by leading her away to draw a picture for Jessica, Clint and Nora arrive at Llanfair - and Clint rushes into Viki's arms, while Nora stays back and greets Rex, Stacy and Shane, promising Shane that they're going to have a lot of fun down in Texas, at the Buchanan Ranch. Viki worries about Jessica having a relapse, and fears Mitch will get to Bree, which prompts Bo to suggest that he and Nora take Bree with them to Texas. Gigi arrives, and as Rex and Gigi are explaining what’s going on to Shane, Viki and Clint agree to let Bo and Nora take Bree as well. Shane wants Rex and Gigi to go, but Rex can't leave Stacy, who can't fly because of the baby. Though Shane promises Clint that he'll watch over Bree, he warns them all that they won't be able to hide - as long as Mitch Laurence is still out there. Everyone says their goodbyes, as Shane puts his hand on Stacy's belly, hugs Rex and Gigi then leaves with Bo, Nora and Bree.
Phantom Spouse...
Tea and Todd are still at the station when Lowell brings John in - in cuffs - who informs Todd that Lowell had him arrested, so Mitch could go after Jessica. Todd wonders if Mitch took Dani and tells Tea about Mitch's visit, leaving Tea to agree, "So this could be payback…" Suddenly, Todd gets a call and rushes Tea off, saying, "Come on, we've got Dani." Tea hollers back at John, "If you need a lawyer, call me." Lowell confronts John, who warns that no matter what Lowell does for Mitch, it's not worth his life - or that of his family. However, Lowell orders a cop to secure John, saying he's dangerous and tried to kill a man tonight! Brody arrives, finds John in shackles then tells him that Mitch took Jessica. Lowell reappears and warns that Brody's lucky he wasn't arrested too, for going rogue, but Brody denies that being the case. Lowell wants him to prove it and says, "Prove that you can still do your job… Book McBain." Brody agrees then when Lowell leaves them alone, John tells Brody that there has to be a clue in Mitch's letter as to where Jessica is. After Brody has filed the report against John, Lowell reappears, fires Brody then answers John's phone again, telling Marty that her boyfriend is indisposed.
Just as Starr almost persuades Dani to call Tea, there's a knock at the door - it's Tea and Todd. Dani agrees to talk to Tea, so everyone leaves them alone, where Dani can't understand how Tea could want her to call a rapist, dad. All Tea asks is that Dani give Todd a chance and reminds her that she's always wanted brothers and sisters.
Starr rejoins Tea and Dani, who begs Tea to let her stay there. Cole and Matthew join the group, too, and once Tea is convinced that it's okay with them, she agrees to let Dani stay there.
